On Dec. 10th, 2007 I was contacted by the company claiming to be the grant department of the goverment, saying I was eligible for a grant (after all fees and charges would be aproximately $2200)

I was reluctant to believe them, but I have requests in through a reputable website for scholarships so I can go to school and not struggle financially as much, I believed it was passed to them from the other site.

I gave them the information after being told that there would be no monies removed from my account untill AFTER the grant had been deposited. Yjos information was also restated on the confirmation call with the company.

On december 13th there was a debit made from healthnet online for the $29.95 and no deposits made, this caused a chain reaction of overdrafts costing me an additional $56.00. I let that one go thinking maybe the grant would be in the next day or so.

There was no activity from them again until there was another debit for $299.95 (which hs once again cause overdraft charges of $58.00) on Dec. 27th, after depositing my check I had $12.50 for 2 weeks.

I called them on December 28th to see what was going on, they claimed they had no idea of the grant that was not something promised by them, and yet I see another victim of the same scam.

I cancelled the service and requested a refund at that point. I was told it was going to have to go to corporate for a refund but I should get it within 2 business days.

I called them again today (Jan 4th, 2008) as no refund had been sent yet. I was told that corporate denied the refund. I then asked to talk to a supervisor. The supervisors were all on lunch at that time (Strange, I worked in alot of call centers and there was always a supervisor somewhere) and that I would have to call back in 1 hour.

A little over one hour later I called again, got the same rep asked to talk to a supervisor, was told they were still on lunch (must be nice to have over an hour lunch for all supervisors of the place) and to call back in 30 minutes. I told him OK but I had to go to work shortly after that.

Third call of the day I got a new rep I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor, she told me they were busy I told her at that point I did not care I wanted to talk to a supervisor. she got all my confirmation information and proceeded to tell me all the info I knew (I.E. my account was cancelled on the 28th a refund request was submitted the same day, and was denied, and I was told that today, well, DUH, as if I did not know what I had done over the last 2 hours) I once again told her that I wanted to talk to a supervisor, she said they were busy, I told her that if I did not get a call back from one I would be calling a lawyer to address this situation.

I do not understand how a company can charge someone over $300 for services never provided, and cancelled in less than 24 hours from the charge. Due to the charges I stand on the verge of losing everything as I do not have to money now to make needed payments on my bills, thanks for everything health Net online.

AUTHOR: Hotunderthecollar - (U.S.A.)

After trying to contact them for days, I finally got a call back from a supervisor about the refund, no other word and it has now been a few weeks.

I have turned them over to the bank, they took an affidavit, and a copy of what I had done to reclaim the funds. I turned it iver to them to fight this mess, they also refunded the money National Healthnet took out and half the overdraft fees that occured from them
