I stupidly signed up for National Home Protection warranty. I was promised a $50 Home Depot rebate.

The form had have explicit instructions that it could only be postmarked within 60 days of coverage start day and before 90 days of coverage date. This was not disclosed when I signed up.

The form was submitted on October 5 as coverage began August 2, 2007. As of today I have not received my Home Depot card. I have sent MANY e-mails to rebates@nationalhomeprotection.com. Most have been unanswered.

Of the 2 replies I received, one stated that it wasn't filed in the appropriate time frame. The second merely said "Thanks". Each was completed by Sarah Masterson. There is no number to speak to a "real person" and all I get is the resubmission form to return.
