I received a phone call from this company after they saw my trailer listed on Craigs list or Ebay. They told me that they thought my trailer was reasonably priced. They said that they are the largest internet site for selling trailers. They said they could sell my trailer for me within a couple of months. They also told me that they would stay in touch with me monthly if it had not sold. They said that they would work with me until the trailer was sold. I paid the $400 they were asking. After they got my money they forgot all about me. I was never contacted after that. A couple of months later, I tried to contact them. After multiple phone calls and leaving messages on their voicemail, I never received a call back. I kept calling.
After 2 weeks of calls, somebody finally answered the phone. I let them know that no consumers had called on my trailer in 2 months. They told me that my trailer was overpriced and I needed to lower it. I reminded them that they told me it was reasonably priced the first time we talked. They said that was not true and they never would have said that. He basically called me a liar. I also reminded him that they said they would follow up with me if it had not sold. He told me that they did not say that and that is not their policy. He was calling me a liar again! I asked for a refund since they were not living up to their promises. He told me that they will not refund me and that I needed to lower the price on my trailer. So I did.
7 months later I still have not recieved 1 phone call on the trailer and have had no follow up from them. I recently called them to lower the price again. I called multiple times to only get a voicemail. I left multiple messages with no calls back. 4 days later after 12-15 phone calls, somebody finally answered the phone. They lowered the price again. Still no phone calls from interested consumers.

What I have learned from all of this:
The first third of the buying will never care about what is being offered.
The second third of people, who no matter how hard ones tryies to sell the truth they hate you and will never buy!
The third of the people!!! This is the best of all the thirds!!!
Because if you just tell the truth and do what you say!!!

For Sale By Owner Company had hired me to help in the Sales and Marketing for the largest For Sale By Owner of Boats, Homes, Land and RV's...before I started with this company I wanted to know who I was going to give my valuable time to. So like many others I did a Google search and found Rip Off Report and the alleged negative information. I still went to my Interview.
I met the President Newt Jones, who by the way is an ex-United Sates Marine Veteran Sergeant who served in the Korean War. He served with some pretty famous men. Mr. Jones told me that No company, let alone his business for 16 years will never go without a complaint. Mr. Jones went on to say that he has had some overzealous employees and clients that once exposed. There is nothing you can do to make these individuals happy even if you give the money back. This is a sad Commentary in deed.
The Rip Off Reports found on this site Mr. Jones said it came from old employees. Mr. Jones discovered the employees actions and they were immediately terminated. Mr. Jones told me, at his age he refuses to be bullied by anyone... and he will not pay to have information removed because anonymous frivolous reports.
Mr. Jones explained that at his age and what he has gone through that there is bad people everywhere and you can't pay them all off...nor can you pay off companies who do not verify these types of damaging of false allegations by anonymous tipsters.
Mr. Jones went on to say, his company has been in business since 1996 and became a Better Business Bureau (BBB), founded in 1912 in 1998 and National Multi List Services became a Credited Business in 2003 and in the last 3 years National Multi List Services has had 46 complaints that have all been resolved satisfactory and still hold a A+ Rating:

I believe in Newt Jones, and his company he built in 1996 called National Multi List Services, I became one of his Sale and Marketing Directors and I if there is one thing I have learned in the For Sale By Owner Industry is the following:
1. The serious For Sale by Owner must prepare to spend $500 - $2,500 to market their For Sale by Owner Property
2. Nobody can guarantee they can sell your property if they do call the owner or management and immediately stop this madness
3. Make sure the companies you decide to For Sale By Owner with contacts you every 20 to 30 days to keep your listing fresh. Some For Sale By Owner Listing Companies use this ploy to never call you again when they tell you to call them every 20 to 30 days.
4. Get all Warranties in Writing or make sure it is posted on the For Sale By Owners website
5. Make sure your For Sale by Owner Listing Company has been in business for at least 5 years the more years the better for The For Sale By Owner Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
6. Google Search the commonly used phrase: Buy Used Homes For Sale By Owner and see who is 1st on the page dont include the sponsored ads (these ads costs thousands of dollars) which we dont have to pay for because we are first or at least on the first page with most top Search Engines
7. National Multi List Services offers 2 different page prices that differ in pricing from the Boats, RVs to the Homes I can explain that to you
8. Make sure your For Sale By Owner Listing Company is full service!!! Make sure they can provide Financing and help your buyer with all paper work including closing.
9. Watch out for hidden cost, never pay more than one price for listing services for marketing dont go over the $2,500 budget and at least list with a company that never drops your listing until it sells or you get your money back

I have spoken with Mark from Gilroy, California on several occasions and recently after seeing his post. He did remember that he did not pay $400.00 and actually received a discount. In addition, as with anything for sale on the internet, no one can make any promises regarding performance relating to how quickly something will sell.
Our customer Mark apologized for making his post, but is unable to retract it. Nevertheless, we remain dedicated to helping him sell his horse trailer.
