I complied with the dispute instructions on the back of the original bill which included sending a written explanation of the circumstances by certified mail and a proof of delivery receipt.
A month later I got a second notice stating that if I didn't pay the $20.00 it would be turned over to a "licensed collection agency" and additional fees would be incurred.
I see that there are an additional 71 entries involving this same company for this very thing on this site.
