You also stated "according to your records", he received two refunds. He "should have" received the second refund on June 27, 2005. Those are all assertions, not statements of fact and you certainly never mentioned anything about having anything verifiable for proof of receipt such as a cancelled check.
As for why people never come back to resolve the issue, I don't know. But you do have the right to submit a rebuttal.

If you received the salvo of threats and hysterical calls I did, you too would have just let him keep both refunds. It just wasn't worth it.
In addition, either you didn't read my last response completely or you didn't understand it, the bank DID say it cleared.
As is typical of this site, you notice that the person complaining did not have the decency to tell what happened once he and I connected, that is, I lived up to everything I said I would do and that the call was handled professionally and calmly.
Carl, please help me out here; why is it that the people who complain here never come back to report the resolve? Is it they get caught up in the mania then are too embarrassed to admit they exaggerated and don't want to lose face?
There have only been a few of you with the courage to report back and I thank you. To all the others, all I can say to you is shame on you.

I calmly and professionally spoke with Michael and agreed to send him another refund check just to end his salvo of hostile e-mails and threats. The check was Federal Expressed on Friday June 24th. He should have it in possession on Monday June 27, 2005.
Please note that according to our records Michael has now received two refunds for the same purchase.
