Other classes taught words, with definitions and examples, which might appear on the test. This course only had a list of words and said "write definitions for these words."
Other courses gave examples of how to analyze and write an essay about various kinds of written material (poetry, prose, advertizements, government information pamphlets, and plays). Other courses taught how it will be graded by CSet examiner and what the CSet examiners wanted to see. This course simply gave you a passage and said analyze it and write an essay which they grade.
The online information information in this course could have been 4 or 5 pages of (not very useful) handouts. They also have music videos with pretty pictures which one can view but it is completely baffling why. The relevance to the CSet English test is a mystery I was not interested in solving. Spend your money elsewhere.
