This is the email I sent to NLS on May 1, 2009. I had not recieved any refund except wierd excuses from Maher and pleadings to let him continue my cases "allow him to use me as an example"..
Dear Maher,
There is now a sale date for first week of June now for Dunnigan and Hurley homes.
Yourself and Brenda told me initially, and all subsequently, that you can do things to help stop my foreclosure process plus help me get back the house that was already foreclosed on, prior me signing up and all during, and you required that I pay your up front retainer of $2500 before any work could be started, on March 25, 2009.
You haven't done anything, except erase all the emails of documents I scanned per your request at starting the service and during. You said you'd need all those things to fight the foreclosure but you erased them.
I do not see anything you have done to actively stop my foreclosure nor have you done what you were contracted to do.
I have sent many emails questioning the status of your work on my file- you reply that it's completed ( but nothing is ever produced) or you say that you emailed it to me and didn't I get it? -and when I answer "no" you don't resend it as you say you would.
You have never appointed a time to go over each property with me to make any progress towards completion. When I call you, you would cut the conversation short and ask me to call you back at a certain times and when I did you were never available or were not in. Or, you would say that you will call back and never do.
I want a full refund of the $2500 I paid to you. All it got me was wasted time
and closer to the sale date.
I am terminating my contractual relationship with NLS and expect a full refund. If I do not receive my money back within 3 business days I will begin to file complaints.
I perceive and see evidence that your promises to deliver are lacking and not in good faith.

Comments: I don't know if the ripp off report is limited to AZ jurisdiction where this person is the subject (as others are) of a call for a federal investigation. This person is a someone who needs help and that's our observation. Since her departure we have assisted a number of attorneys and their clients with testimony and evidence of unlawful lender actions. These civil cases are sensitive and we do seek to push borrower rights in each case under counsel's guidance - .

NLS is allowing its clients to enjoin a pending class action suit with leading attorneys throughout the country. The real victims and people needing our assistance are attorneys seeking facts and homeowners who cases can show they have been really ripped off.

The party commenting is a plant or shill for a collective effort conspiring to disturb our lawyers and accounting professional efforts. This is normal in a class suit tof this size.The party currently owes NLS nothing as an outstanding bill for legal fees to counsel (I understand) remains unpaid to date totaling $5,000.

Today our lawyers made calls to the FBI, and local sheriffs and police cyber crimes unit (LAPD) and its an intense involvement of time to bring charges. None the less a statewide investigation has taken place regarding a number of these perpetrators who seek to terrorize homeowners who have a fighting chance. The lenders for this person and well as our attorneys are working through this case as we speak to authority and where damages are in excess of the millions.

Anyone posting to this site should make themselves available for questions and contact information if they know something about this person's ongoing activities. Clients threatened or having any information regarding her threats or pornographic content she solicited on the internet should call authorities or our office at 877-732-7653

This is a very interesting report and I would be happy to hear from you directly, Vicki, about your experiences. In the future, only licensed professionals can legally engage in loan modifications, and even then, only a licensed attorney can collect money from you, up front. *Some* real estate professionals can collect money from you, up front, but they have to be specifically authorized by the Department of Real Estate. When in doubt, check it out.
