In January 2011 I did an inventory for a moving quote from Michigan to Arizona with Carla Romagnolo.  I was quoted $3721.27, as a guarantee not to exceed.  I explained to her that there was more stuff in my house than what was on my inventory.  I had an attorney look at this and he stated that as long as they knew that there was more heavy stuff in my house than what was on my inventory, all will be ok.  Since they Guaranteed not to exceed the money that they quoted.  But shortly after that Carla went on leave, and I was forced to deal with an idiot named Michael Anthony.  He even quoted up to the day that I signed the contract that they guaranteed the rate was not to exceed the quoted price.  I had a discussion with Michael about the fact that there was approx. 1000 lbs if not more that was left off the inventory.  He said that they will still honor the quote as a guarantee not to exceed, since that was the way it was written.  He stated that QA would call me three or four days prior to the move and would take care of the additions then.  I said that there wouldn't be a raise in price correct.  He said that the way the quote was written, they would eat the difference.  Wow.  What a lie that was, because when Shawn called me from QA, he doubled my rate, and then when I told him that I wanted my money back, he said he couldn't do that since it was less than 5 business days prior to the move.  I asked to speak to Michael and he came on the line and said, "How did I piss you off"  I told him the situation, and he said that he would refund my deposit money.  I told him to cancel the load, which he said sure and never did.  Then told Shawn to hang up the f***ing phone, and don't refund their money.  I called back and spoke to Samuel Edwards a "supervisor" who told me that he has already dispatched the movers to our job.  I asked who that was, and he didn't know.  I told him that I wanted Aldo or Anthony on the phone.  He said, "absolutely not.  They don't ever come in here to take calls.  They don't care about what they do to get money into the door."  I spoke to Cheryl who said that they will look into the situation and get back to me in a couple days. Ten seconds after this call I get a call from the dispatcher of the moving company asking for information on my residence, where it is, how accessible it is etc.  I told him that if their driver shows up on my door he will be greeted with a load of buck shot in his a*s.   A week goes by and I get a phone call from Cheryl that says we looked at the situation, and Michael denies ever talking to you about this, and that you are making it up.  We will not be refunding your deposit money.  Makes me wonder, if Sheriff Andy Griffith and Deputy Barney Fife actually did the investigation.  I have sent in a BBB Complaint, (over a week ago haven't heard anything) and am wondering if their B+ rating was purchased, since they deserve an F in my book.  All I want is my $1450.49 back that they stole from me and lied to me about refunding, and actually being a company of honor.  If anyone wants to join me, I will be starting a class action lawsuit against Michael Anthony, and the Disorbo's, and Nationwide Relocation Services.

Their fraud has to be reported and dealt with

AUTHOR: suz - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, December 08, 2012

Yes, please call me at (((ROR redacted))) or email me at (((ROR redacted)))  I experienced the most horrendous move using Nationwide in my life and I have moved long distance a lot.  If it had not been for my medical condition and medical equipment they held hostage and help from Move Rescue, DOT, and consumer complaint agency and threatening to sue them for pain and suffering and to call the police to report all my belongings to have been stolen by this company, it would not have even been delivered by then.  I am beside myself with how this company and its affiliate movers can still exist after extorting so many people, causing countless losses, and suffering. Not inconvenience. It goes way beyond that!  We have to get them. They will try to ruin your credit if you fight them for overcharges and fraud. This has to stop. We need help. I am still dealing with their overcharges and fraudulent fees.

Finally Settled.

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Finally, I got through to Nationwide Relocation Service.  The threat of Class Action and constantly screaming at everyone that answered the phone got me to Aldo's Admin.  Once I screamed at her about the situation, they finally agreed to refund my money, and sent me a settlement agreement.  Just a word of advice, go onto the website www.nationwiderelo.com and file a complaint there.  Send numerous emails to customer.service@nationwiderelo.com and this will help your situations.  Hope this helps, because that is what I did.  It only took a month of screaming at them to get it resolved.  Best of Luck.

This may help stop Aldo

Consumers can help identify noncompliant household goods movers by calling FMCSA's nationwide complaint hotline,
1-888-368-7238 (1-888 DOT-SAFT) or by visiting http://nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov. Prior to selecting a household goods carrier, consumers should also visit FMCSAs www.protectyourmove.gov for information on planning a successful move and to search movers and their complaint history.

Aldo is horrible

AUTHOR: ArrestAldo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Aldo is horrible. He does not care that his employees lie. He tells them to in sales meetings. He is in his office every day. He is more than able to take calls and help his customers, but refuses. Why would he care? He has their money already.... I went to his office to discuss my move that ended up being me just getting ripped off. First address I went to was for World Moving. Guess what? Not a real adrress. It is a ups mail store. Really. So I hunted down the other companies he does business under. Finally made it to his office by using the addy for Nationwide. Well, I was greeted by security that said under no circumstance may I enter the building and I was asked to leave before he called the cops. I did nothing but try to enter the building that houses the company that charged and kept my depsoit. I was aso told that 90 cameras are watching me. This guy ripped off so many people he ha buit a fort to protect him. Scary stuuf. I cannot belive the Government allows this to happen to hard working Americans!!! We must stop him!!!!!!! STOP HIDING ALDO!

May I Join Nationwide Class Action Suit

AUTHOR: Nationwide Reloction, Ft. Lauderdal - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, March 20, 2011

Nationwide of United States Van Lines owes me a 3932.06, plus two days of waiting for delivery that was supposedly too much to handle.  This broker disappeared, the truking company they "brokered" was too small to carry the inventory list and I had to pay employees overtime to wait for a truck that never arrived March 19 - March 20.

The newest is we received a call from Nationwide stating that we would have to pay $250.00 for an overnight stay, since the truck broke down.

We were overcharged mileage by their agent (which they brokered from their own company United States Van Lines.  The paperwork they sent to the the drivers is not what we have, nor does it reflect the contract we had.
