Navy Federal Credit Union is by far the WORST bank that I have ever dealt with. They are not there for the Military, they are there to RIP OFF the Military personel and their families. If you get direct deposit, dont expect to get it until the day AFTER your deposit is suppose to hit, If you deposit a check and you have another clear the same day, be prepare to have your check REJECTED so that they can collect $25.00 from you and tell you it's your fault because they didn't make the funds available when you deposited the money, not to mention that the other place will charge you also. If you need a loan; unless you have "perfect" credit, be prepared to be declined. If your a Military spouse....Dont apply, they will hire someone NOT associated with the Military. They are AWFUL!  I do not and would not recommend them to anyone. If your associated with the Military, go with someone else because Navy Federal SUCKS! You WILL regret ever opening an account with them. They find everyway possible to take your money after our service members PUT THEIR LIVES at risk for ours (and their) freedom. I recommend going to AAFES, USAA, or any other bank that is NOT Navy Federal (NFCU)! Please save yourself the headache and money (especially in this economy).
