Husband and wife went in for Tattoos and the Artist used unfiltered tap water to dilute his ink and clean his equipment. We didn't realize what the consequences would be until we started getting symptoms the next day. Tattoos were swollen and filling with pus in areas. the did our best to keep the area clean but it kept getting worse. Went to the doctor he told us we were infected with unsterile equipment or from the tap water being contaminated! We called the shop when the symptoms appeared and he said we should seek medical attention. Eventually the bacteria deep in the tissues became abcess. bacteria caused from being injected into the epidermal layers of the skin. We both had to go back to the Doctor and have the abcess drained and packed. These infections aren't contagious so we didn't give this to each other. We live a clean healthy life and have no other medical concerns. The Artist should be fired " Christophe Nels" The owner of the shop Robert denied anything and wouldn't listen to us.
