Gives 0 time, 0 dollars.

0 family members, including Neil found the time to call or at least send a card to a young innocent child who doesn't or shouldn't have to understand, but recognizes that they didn't.

remembers she didn't get any cards, gifts, or calls during Christmas time. she asked one day, "My dad gave me four things, right?" that is what she remembers, besides that he just doesn't call.

she knows mom is struggling too, and that her "dad" doesn't help take care of her
