I SIGNED UP FOR THE SO CALLED 14 DAY FREE TRIAL SINCE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SAID THAT MY DEBIT CARD WOULD NOT BE CHARGED BEFORE THE TRIAL WAS UP. I CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT THE SAME DAY AND LOW AND BEHOLD THEY HAD CHARGED ME $19.79, CAUSING MY BANK ACCOUNT TO BECOME OVERDRAWN, AND OVERDRAFT FEES WERE POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT, ON TOP OF THAT.
I GAVE NETFLIX A TRY A LONG TIME AGO, AND NOW I RECALL WHY I DID NOT CONTINUE WITH THEM. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR, DVD QUALITY IS REALLY POOR SINCE THE DVD'S ARE USUALLY DAMAGED UPON ARRIVAL, AND THE TURNAROUND TIME THAT IS TAKES TO RECIEVE THE NEXT DVD IN YOUR QUEUE IS EXTREMELY SLOW. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. IT IS NO WONDER WHY BLOCKBUSTER ONLINE IS DOING SO WELL NOW.

I don't think that you have read the agreement in it's entireity. With Netflix you can get a free trial period. But you only get that free trial ONE TIME.
You state right there in your post that you had tried them awhile back. When you did that, you used up your free trial then. When you signed up now, you actually did owe them the monthly fee.
You cannot expect to get a free trial period more than one time. If they were to allow that, I would sign up with them and then cancel by the end of the free trial; only to sign up again the next month for another free trial.
Please....read everything before you make an agreement with someone.
