I bought over 70 cards for a marketing campaign. Paid the $13.95 for each card upon activation i was told that because a bought so many at once that the cards were automatically blocked.  A few months later i wish and contacted the company for a refund and gave them the rcpt. They replied that because a few months had pasted that the cards had used up their money and was not entitled to a refund - - How is this possible if they were never activated to begin with? I asked them. They stated that this was their final action on these cards. I lost out on over $700.

We are very sorry to hear about the problems you experienced with your cards.

The cards were blocked because NetSpend only allows 3 accounts/cards per person.  Our Terms and Conditions also state that there is a $5.95 account maintenance fee per month if there is no activity on a card for 90 days.  If the receipts were sent in earlier, you may have been able to avoid the maintenance fees.
