Netflix double billed me for five months but said they could only refund for the last thirty days of service because of a policy.

In other words

You are in the group of people that do NOT look at statement but keep paying. Then all of the sudden surprise about what happen and make a complaint that all responsibilities fall over the billing company. If you have been receiving the billing, please keep your excuses of 'no time' or 'too complicated billing' because you are too lazy to do so.

By all mean, this does not mean Netflix has no responsibility. Netflix policy is a bit harsh but correct that the consumers should and must catch this kind of errors on the first month of billing (30 days). If anything passes that time, it is consumers responsibility. Hope you learn to LOOK at any statement every month from now on.

And you did not know this?? Then that is your fault for not checking your banking/credit card statements.  That is YOUR responsibility.
