I listened to a Network for Good teleconference in 2007 and decided on that day that Network for Good was not a company our charity wanted to have business dealing with, they had too many opportunities for waste, fraud, and abuse. The website extracts a 4.75% fee from paypal and debit or credit card donations. There is a written statement that Network for Good and it's parent for profit company can divert the donation to a nonprofit of thier choice. The donor who donates in January has no knowledge at the time of the donation that they were a victim of deception and their donation was given to another charity.
Without our knowledge Friends in Action, Georgia is listed on the Network for Good website. Network for Good is soliciting donations from the general public by placing a donation button under the name of our nonprofit organization.
