Netzero - United Online Collection Division Today I just rec letter from this collection agency abtstating that I have deliquent account to Netzero and owe $14.95. I called Netzero and was able to spoke w/ an Indain lady and asked her why I received this letter when I already terminated my account since Aug 28, 2008 I even gave her the confirmation number that they gave during the time that I called. Today I received letter from this collection agency about delinquent acct for $14.95 from Netzero. I terminated my acct since 8/28/08 and spoke w/ and agent , good thing I wrote the content of our conversation w/ confirmation number. I called Netzero 18668411442 spoke with Indian lady and asked what are charges for? Told me that I did not pay 2 months, when I called to terminate the service I asked if I still owe anything and told me that I am current via auto draft from my bank account, and they are giving 2 months free inscase i change my mind to contune their service but refuse it since I am cut off my phone line switching to wireless internet service. Tried to call 18662101700 but only an automated answering machine telling me that I needed to write. Netzero said they can not do anything, I asked why ebcause they were the one who reported this fraudalent info, and said it is beyond their hand. This scam needed to be stop, please help.
