We ordered a mattress and bed on 1/17/09 from Nevada Furniture & Mattress Center, with a delivery time of 10-14 days. We paid in full with a total of $1000+. After 14 days and no furniture, we called almost daily, only to be lied to about delivery dates. Also, Alan, the manager, was extremely rude. After learning that I was 6 months pregnant and sleeping on the floor, his response was, "that's not my concern." They refused to give us our money back, and everytime we called, they gave a different delivery date. When that delivery date arrived, the furniture wouldn't show up, and they would assign a new delivery date. On 2/10/09, the owner, Mike, agreed to give us a rebate of $350 for our trouble, and promised that we would have our mattress delivered the next day, and that our bed would be in our house by that Saturday, 2/14/09. We did receive our mattress, but I think that was a teaser to get us off their back, because it is now 2/24/09 and we still don't have our bed. By now they have given us at least 10 delivery dates, and none of them ever comes to fruition. The owner told us that he fired Alan for his rude treatment toward customers, but that was a lie because when my husband went up there today to talk to the owner, guess who was working there...Alan. Alan refused to get Mike on the phone, and instead called the police and had my husband charged with trespassing.
This business is dirty. They will not win, though...we are not giving up on getting our bed! We are also not the first customers that have done this to.
