SUBMITTED: Thursday, September 30, 2010
POSTED: Thursday, September 30, 2010The issues raised by the previous poster have all been settled. As a matter of clearing the air, however, I will state the following facts:
1. There was no failure to abide by regulations on the part of NECC or its staff. Accepting specimens from anyone is fine, so long as no specimens are sold or used by any clients. No specimens from this particular donor were sold or used.
2. If the poster was a donor, then the donor breached confidentiality and anonymity provisions of his contract with NECC.
3. NECC has settled the amounts owed to said donor and the issue was resolved in a timely manner.
4. NECC maintains the highest standards of ethical and regulatory conduct when screening donors.
