Attention all who have been victim to New Healthy Savings! I got my money back and I hope I can help all the others out there who have been ripped off by this company! Please read!!!
Back in March I took over my fiance's finances when he was deployed to the Med. I noticed a charge for $48 to his checking account for New Healthy Savings. I asked him about it and he had no idea. So i called the number on the statement and the people told me when he supposedly signed up for Free Hot Movie Downloads, although we were both traveling that particular day and there was no way we could have signed up... still not sure how they got his account info though. I told her if they charged my account again I would make their lives a living hell. =)So the lady tells me she needs his bank card number to process the refund and I give it to her.
Well the next bank statement comes and still no refund so I call again. They tell me I will get a refund in 10-14 days and if I didn't then to call back. In the mean time they charged his account another $49.95, which they immediately credited back to the account in the next transaction. But of course no refund after 14 days so I call again. They tell me to email Support@newhealthysavings.com and put attn:manager in the subject line and I would get a response within 48 hours. So I email and never get a response so I call again. At this point I am pissed and I make that very clear. I spend about 30 minutes on the phone demanding a supervisor, cussing up a storm and threatening the lady on the other end of the line. The supervisor I got was Ann i think, and there is one named Allison too but she was "in a meeting." Again I am cussing and yelling and screaming, I tell the lady I will get in my car and drive to Florida and find them and it won't be pretty when I do... I also told her that hundreds of people are posting their stories on the internet and letting the world know the truth behind their company.
Every time she opened her mouth to say something I would interrupt her and say "Where is my money?" At the end of this conversation I was told that she was submitting another request and that I needed to send another email to the email@example.com and put a bunch of info in there and I should receive my refund in the next ten business days and she pleaded with me to please be patient. I told her that 2 months ago I may have considered patience but at this point she was lucky I wasn't standing outside her door because they never had permission to sign me up for any of this in the first place. This final conversation was on June 3, and I just checked and on June 6th I received a credit for $48 from New Healthy Savings. So I actually got all of my money back! So for all of you out there who have given up, all I can tell you is that if you scream and yell enough and get the people on the other end a little shaken up you might just get your money back too. If anyone else out there tries this and is successful please post it, I posted this hoping that I could help others out since it was because of this website that I got my money back!
