New Horizons has scammed the US Government voucher system.
They have showed you a bill for two exam vouchers for $650 of which neither were given to me.
Cassy Younce was not threatened by me and I did not say that she had to change my program. I told her I was not qualified for the class. She said she was putting me through to her GM and that is when Kris went through a 2-3 minute tirade, I barely got a word in, and she went into another, and then another. I said I was just going to contact work one and she then tried to black mail me by saying she would disgrace me and make things up to get me in trouble with work one.
Further, in fact I was not qualified for any of the classes they put me in and I complained several times that they were above my head and they kept telling me to hang in there. I only was in two classes for full attendance not three.
Cassy would no longer talk to me after she put me through to the GM in Carmel New Horizons. The police officer I talked to said the Ms Martin had told him she was issuing a full refund, and if not to contact him. I have contacted him back around the time of the occurrence but have heard nothing further. Ms. Martin also stated that if I made an issue of their
program she would slander and make my life a living hell. I sought medical treatment after the occurrence because I was a victim of her abuse, I saw LCSW Seegers at Aspire Indiana in Lebanon IN about the situation with new horizons.
Ms Martin clearly starts her letter to you with lies. I did not request a program change and Ms Martin did go on some kind of tangeant when I told them of the class mismatch, which they should have known. But they are not like other training centers who make sure your qualified for the course they present one with. I think this has probably caused many issues at there center, and is what caused their meltdown in customer service. To the point of them hanging up on me and not handling my request of assistance to know what to do in such a case. Since I was not qualified for the course I let them know and said I would let Work One know as well and thats when Kris started threatening me and attempted to blackmail me by saying she would disgrace me if I called Work One.
Again, they show a bill for two vouchers worth $650, which I never received. They called the police on me, not even to say that all the promises they were giving me about practice exams and access to the classes for repeat studying now moot, as these perpetrators should be imprisoned. I did contact them at the first class and they said it was prepatory to the other
classes. They even gave me completion certificates even though I couldnt complete half of the labs for the class. The classes were 50% lecture and 50% labs.
They state they have met the terms of their agreement, so that they may keep the funding, which has in no way been earned by this at minimum intimidating actions on their part. I wish to persue full recourse.
I picked the program that I was in because I was told I qualified. It is funny that they can drive 45 minutes to pick up the money for the program from me, but once I assert myself and do some research that backs me up, on my qualifications for the class, my assumptions were reality, they had me way over my head and they could not service me in a professional manner. On top of it all they call the police. I feel this is intimidation for me not to try and get what I am entitled to, the MCPD certification they originally promised and then after receiving the money they changed It to a MCTS certification. They are frauds and cheats and do not deserve there present stature as an unsanctioned business in Indiana. I have an attorney Terrance Kinnard and wish to persue damages as I have had my anxiety disorder reappear after the incident.
Please let me know how I can escalate this matter to the next level.
Their agreement included a learning guarantee and job placement assistance of which they are now not fulfilling. They never gave me access to the OLA as listed in the contract. As they have not fulfilled the contract, please advise my recourse.
Again, I only attended two classes, not three, and I have not received the exam vouchers. Please have them forward those to me.
In Kris Martins letter it is stated that Cassy told me that I could not change the program, this I believe is Ms. Martins made up reality. Cassy seemed very pleasant to work with and would be surprised if she told her that. Ms Martin for some reason is tryng to argue about the facts of what I know happened. She states that I kept saying that Ross recommended the program. This is a mix of words. I only wanted to get a head up in my IT skills, and taking classes that are not right for me was as much their mistake as mine, as they asked for a resume to qualify me for the classes. Ms Martin never asked me
If I had programing skills. And again I only took two classes not three. And I have not received the vouchers, since this is a fact, of which they can not prove differently, what else have they so blatantly overlooked or scammed. Her statement that Universities dont recommend Majors is a misnomer as I have a counselor at a couple of universities that help make sure my classes and major is appropriate.
I was enraged at Ms Martins threats and they thought it was funny. This is not a business but a terrorist roosting grounds. She totally lies on the second page. I would be glad to take a lie detector and she needs one too. I will not be blasted with these accusations. I am a church going Christian and I would have to say she is not. ???She feels threatened when
laughing at me about my situation. This is what I am talking about. She states she handled the call professionally and I said all these things, did she ever think of helping me with my class??? She wanted an issue and created it herself
and her organization. They would not have a disgruntled customer if they gave them what $4000 had paid for. I was out of work for over a year and was very disappointed to be scammed by New Horizons. I will be contacting the Governors
office on this.
Fran, please do not make this a Trayvon Martin case. What happened to the customer is always right to lets screw over our clients and then call the police on them.
I am putting faith in you to do whats right. Close them down.
