this company runs your credit with out your authorization, trying to get a stream line FHA loan(you do need a credit check). their sale people have not knowlegde of the federal laws. stay away from this company!

Wrong about unauthorized credit check

Hello clueless.. The only way for a company to run your credit in order to loan you money is for you to "freely" give them your SSN. The only way to run a credit report is to have individual info on custormer, including the SSN. When you talked with them about a mortgage, you gave them your SSN. Don't say you didn't because they couldn't run a credit report without it. Don't give your SSN over the phone if you don't want a credit report pulled einstein. In order for any mortgage company to give you a rate quote , hence a good faith estimate they have to run a credit check. Telling people to stay away from a great mortgage company like New Penn Financial is reckless on your part. They are accredited by the BBB with an A+ rating. If you notice you are the only nimrod that has a complaint against them. Your complaint is baseless.
