Newport News utilizes deceptive billing procedures, levys illegal late fees, and there have been discrepancies brought to light on information regarding balances and payments due. I have brought to their attention on more than one occasion the fact that there are no bills being generated so that consumers may justly even attempt to make payments in a timely fashion. It seems to be their routine to elimate this pertinent information so that they can dishonestly charge the customer these fees under these deceptive practices.

When consumers try to call & clarify the information, the recordings don't even have working phone numbers for the accounts, and the call is disconnected. I have also had several of these incidents happen. Account reps are often rude and in a hurry to conclude the call (don't ask one if you can put them on hold - -); I made that mistake today. Customer service is even many times null & void.
