So this happened a few years ago and I still think about it all the time. I was about 12 and my parents finally gave me an ok on learning how to surf. We booked lessons with Binswanger because he's in Newport and that was close to our house.
The lessons were awful. I did not stand up at all since I was given no pointers and I hardly caught any waves because I wasn't being pushed into any. About halfway into the lesson some girl came over whom he called his 'assistant'. Obviously she wasn't. Needless to say it was extremely awkward for expecting to finally learn how to surf while he was putting his hands all over his 'assistant'. Seriously? He also made sure to spend a very long time making my mother very uncomfortable with a bunch of perverted comments and offering free instruction to her. Right.
After that horrible experience I went right to Surf Diva Surf School in La Jolla. Seriously don't waste your time with this man or anyone else. I have done so many classes/camps with Surf Diva. All I can do is laugh about the time I spent with that potbelly Matt Binswanger. I also noticed all the responses you've been leaving on here Matt and I've got to say, you really aren't helping yourself out haha Anon

We would like to clarify that Surf Diva Surf School nor the owners did not post the complaint regarding your school. It's unfortunate you thought we had something to do with the complaint but we are happy to have personally cleared it up with you. Best of luck.

Hey Idiot! It's obvious that Surf Diva of San Diego put up this slanderous defamatory untrue comment about the way i conducted myself!!! The attacks keep on coming from competitors posting remarks trying to disparage my reputation. It's obvious that some idiot mother wrote this report or the owner of surf diva kook camp that claims that we at Newport Surf School just push our students in the white water!!! To claim I was putting my hands all over my assistant is an accusation that will incur a law suit which I will claim with this untrue allegation!!! It is really obvious that Surf Diva will be the entity I will pursue damages and sue with the intent of stopping anymore defamation to enhance other competing surf schools. My responses have helped me through the years because it just shows how many idiots complaining whiners there are trying to ruin a great surf school like mine. I am going to keep all the negative reports on because they bring me more business because anyone with a mind can see that these few negative reports are nothing but a bunch of buffoons that have nothing better to do than write complete bull shit from their bottom feeding minds!!! Come on, free lessons with perversion trying to give free lessons to an unknown mom!!! I have family and friends that are loyal and since this is again an serious allegation I will have my attorneys sue the hell out of any who try to defame my name on the internet, oh by the way there is ways to find out the persons who are responsible for this report!!! I will stand firm and fight out these idiots who think they can just write any remark with a defamatory nature like especially with connotations in relating any perversion!!! It's on now with anyone thinking about writing untrue comments on any negative report sites and will be meat with the same retribution to clear the internet from accusations alike!!! The negative help bring clients/students because 90% of the people have minds that work and can filter out these B.S. untrue statements!!!
