North Shore Agency scams and class action lawsuit Melville New York

More on the intimidating collection angency letters for magazine subscriptions and other stuff you never ordered.

Guess what folk!!! Prevention, Mens' Health, Womens' Health..... etc. all belong to the same company - Rodale. Big surprise, eh? Some of the other companies being complained about in conjunction with North Shore Agency seem to be owned by completely different groups (note that word "seem" - the jury is still out). But Family Circle and Parents (and a pile of others) have common owners too...... Hmmmmm?

So it is highly likely that NSA is contacting them first to solicit their collusion in these scams. They are probably getting a good chunk of the cash in return for keeping the subscription numbers up - so the mag's can get higher advertizing rates. Looks like some ex-NSA employees are going to blow the whistle - good for them - I bet they sleep better at night now.

Rodale has some red flags flying on it's own. Lots of websites to harvest your email address and other personal information if you sign up on them, so be warned. That's one company you definitely do not want to have an personal information on you. Who wants to wear out their mail carrier heaving all those unsolicitied "free" magazines to your door followed by the NSA letters trying to screw you.

And what reputable company designs a website that tries to disable your browser back button!!!! That's the kind of thing you hardly ever see these days even on on admittedly sleazy sites. It's "Yogalife", so avoid it.

Hope this additional info' is of some help to some of you. For more, Google North Shore Agency, and the magazine names you got scammed by and follow their trails through their web sites, lists of product names, etc. You will want to shower afterwards but it's an interesting read.

Good luck folks!! Have at 'em!!! Who votes we all turn them in to the TV media investigators? That will at least publicly warn a lot of people off these products and hit them where it hurts - in the pocket - serves the SOB's right.
