 This company is probably the most shady online company I have dealt with on the internet. I purchase a torsion spring on their website as the price seems cheaper then ones at our local store for my dad to replace the one that was broken in his garage. When the item arrive Our garage door installer said that the spring was not of correct size and dimensions to what we need so we ended up purchasing one from a local garage door store. After everything was installed I email their sales guy to know where to ship the return packaging. He replied back with 6 simple words  "We don't offer refunds on this item". Now bear in mind that nowhere on their website does it says that they don't offer refunds on certain items even if they are BRAND NEW.

From the time I selected the item to when I click the checkout tab their was nothing on their page to let me know that I cannot return an item. A simple banner of "THIS ITEM IS NON-RETRUNABLE" or  "WE DON'T OFFER REFUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR THIS ITEM" or something to that effect would've prevented me from doing business with such a pathetic company. Please don't do business with this company because you will regret it if you're stuck with a product you don't need and they will absolutely refuse to refund you even if said item was brand new.

Honest Business - Return Policy Clearly Posted On-Line

Buy with confidence!  This is an honest company.  If you are merely shopping dollars and do not value the intelligence and service from a local in-home service company, then you always bear this risk - especially if you are not trained in that field.  DIY sometimes means "Dumb Ignoramus You's-be."

Apparently this consumer failed to completely review the Company's return policy PRIOR to placing her order.  I have not seen a website yet, that posts it's return policy on the order form or issues a WARNING (about no returns on certain items) while placing an order.

It is the BUYER'S responsibility to review any returns policy PRIOR to placing an order.  The returns policy is not going to be a flashing warning sign with bells and whistles!  Here is their published policy from their website:

Cancellation Policy:
To cancel an order, please contact our customer service team at 1-440-365-5707. Orders are generally processed through our system within 24 hours, so we may be unable to cancel your order before it has shipped. All orders are automatically uploaded to our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. All cancelled orders will be assessed a 10% cancellation fee.

Warranty Information:

All items on our web site are brand new. If the item you purchased from us fails in the first 30 days, you may send the item
back to us and we will replace it at no charge. Experience tells us that most items returned with claims to be defective, are in fact not defective. Some items we can test while others we cannot. So, if we need to send out a no charge replacement item for a claimed defective product, and it does not work or solve the problem, then the shipping and handling charge will be assessed on the returned goods.

Return Policy:

Purchases may be returned within 30 days, with the exception of springs and circuit boards. No returns after 30 days from purchase. ALL returned orders are assessed a 10% return fee. Item(s) MUST be returned in their original shipped condition and include all related parts, factory packaging and instructions. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Items returned incomplete are subject to additional fees to replace or repack components (IE: batteries, visor clips,
instructions, etc.). Items returned damaged, used, or non re-sellable are not refunded. A copy of your sale receipt should be included with your return.
