*Consumer Suggestion: PLEASE TRY CHECKING THE COURT, crime they commit against all the honest small businesses who they prey upon.

I am a first time small business owner and I must say that I have made a bad decision with Northern Leasing. I was greeted by this extremely nice guy, who made me feel that he was totally genuine about helping my business grow by accepting credit cards. When I got ready to sign the contract, I was agreeing to a 2 year lease agreement, which I was told that it was the total of the machine broken into payments. Lo and behold, when I got the Lease agreement, that was barely readable, I had three extra pages attached to it that I had not seen.
Not only that it was at that time that I realized that I had been placed in a 48 year lease. Who in the hell will agree to a 48 year lease and still have to return the machine. I was told that after two years the machine would be paid for and I would be the owner. I had no idea that I was leasing a machine that only cost a good $700, for 4 years at 89.67 a month. And to make things worse, It is noncanceable, and the payment were only suppoed to be 69.00 a month! I would have never agreed to that!!!! I am very outraged at this and I am thinking of getting a lawyer to try and get out of the lease.
Something seriously need to be done about this company. If any one have suggestions, please let me know through the rebuttal box!

I wa under the impression that I was Paying $59.00 a month to lease a credit card machine. I paid my first payment and it cleared. Since then this company has taken $278.74 out of my checking account without my permission and for no reason. I went through my signed papers and these amts. appear no-where. I need a Lawyer and I will get one.

I was under the assumption That I was paying $59.00 per lease. I sent pymt. and it cleared my account. Since then they have taken $278.74 out of my checking account without my permission. I need a Lawyer fast. I now have checks bouncing and the electric to my business is due for cut off. I'M totally devastated and my business may be closing.

Please try checking with the New York court clerks office to find out how to obtain Complaints against Northern Leasing. There are many! You are not alone in your search for justice.
People just like you with the same story are everywhere.One thing that kept them from getting anymore money from my company was a stop-payment at the bank. All you have to do is go to the bank where they are debiting your account and tell them you want a stop-pay against Northern Leasing.If everyone out there would do this and not be intimidated they wouldn't last long.By letting them access your accounts you are virtually supporting them.
They will tell you that you can't get out of the contract but the truth of the matter is they are breaking the law.It's called raqueterring.Please read up on the filings and do it today! You have rights. These people must be stopped. I hope to see them soon in the media exposed for the crime they commit against all the honest small businesses who they prey upon.
