Northern Leasing Systems, Inc Transnational Ripoff, Not small business friendly New York, New York

Not happy with the way our small business was treated by this company. We had problems from the beginning and tried to contact the representative who contacted us from the start. Could never speak to someone to discuss the machine or the lease agreement. Each month had charges from Northern Leasing as well as charges from Transnational. They were supposed to pay state taxes to the county in which the equipment was located. Never received any information that this was done.

When the economy took a nose dive, we had to close our business. Sorry it didn't fit into Northern Leasing's lease. Due to no fault of our own, we had to close our business.  Which means, no money.  How do you expect me to pay for the remainder of a lease on equipment that was returned to them in excellent condition.  Now 3 years later I get a letter from an attorney, Joseph Sussman, demanding for me to pay them or they will take legal action against me.  I also thought that they have to file any legal action in the county in which the contract was signed.  I also remember receiving information that legal action had been filed against Northern Leasing.

Do not deal with these people.  Deal with your bank.  They will set you up with the proper equipment and not have a non cancellable agreement.  Which, like everyone else has mentioned, is so small and not disclosed by the representative.
