Received letter alleging I have a past due account balance of $5870.57 owed originally to Wells Fargo. I never had a credit card with Wells Fargo. I did have a savings account with them several years ago that has long since been closed. They offered to settle the account upon receipt and clearance of $1761.18. I would then be sent a letter that the account had been resolved.
