What an interesting thing! I found out I am special, just like everyone else in the world! And, miracle of miracles, I'm in "the second cycle". Wow! Who woulda thunk? I find it interesting that thier rebuttal to their obvious scam, penned by "Barbara Diamond" (puleeese) does not deal with the efficacy or lack thereof pertaining to thier claims. They apparently have stolen a chapter from Hillary Rodham-Clinton's book and blame all bad press on a "right wing conspiracy". Since when was Christianity or conservative politics at fault for such outrageous claims? At no point did the so-called "Barbara Diamond" engage the question of whether or not this so-called "society" can deliver on its claims, and by what means it can do so.

Here's an idea: if you order their 55 page "Indoctrination" (read as brain washing) booklet, they will have invested over $1.00 in you. Assuming there are one million of us "special" people out here, if we all order the booklet, it will cost them one million dollars in postage, not to mention the cost of postage. Perhaps this would be an appropriate reply and advise them of just how "special" (read as not stupid) we are!

Yes no and definately not a rip off

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

They are not a rip off, they do, send you their product and give your money back if you ask for it. They are however totally full of crap, none of the claims made that promise they selected you, or that you will find the coveted magic bullet are facts. In fact they misspelled my name, yes some board of selectors, and after reading their literature the only overwhelming desire I had was to apply for a refund. I find their testimonials subject to speculation as well. It is however interesting literature, if you buy it do so only to enlighten yourself not to fix your problems as it can not offer that. It is your typical self help writing with way too many promises.

They would seem to be moving in the direction of creating a cult, I am curious how successful they will be in this area.

Is this a cult?

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

I have read with interests the comments posted in support of this supposed conveyor of great blessings to anyone so fortunate to have received their advertisement. The suppporting advocates challenge all of us who have the audacity to question their voracity with the simple argument of "have you purchased the book?" Well, I personally have not purchased the book, but then I didn't purchase any number of get rich quick books either. I did order the 55 page booklet for this supposed society and saw what a scam it is. Following the ordering of this booklet I received bizarre mailings for tarot card readings which were truly offensive to me.

This is a cult, and you that support it are followers of a very dangerous mentality. We have had some fun poking at you, but your defensive respone in support of this supposed "society" is truly disturbing. I, as well as others on this thread, have attempted to respond with reason and we are labelled as self-styled "philosophers." We are simply responding to an obvious scam. Your defensive proclamation of the benefits of this cult and your attempt to denegrate anyone who has the audacity to challenge your allegiance to this sad "society" of those who live transcendently above the common poor among us is truly disgusting. I look forward to hearing, yet again, your rancor of those of us who would be so foolish as to call into question your unfortunate dedication to a perveyor of magical thinking.

I'm sure you will have further mindless responses. This is clearly a cult and to be avoided.

NOT A SCAM.........SLANDERERS HAVE NO IDEA

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

I am proud to say i have purchased more than 20
books from the society (since 1986)and will continue purchasing them as future books become available. I have spent 1000's of dollars over the years and i can tell you all for a fact that every offer from the company is WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE! Have you ever thought for a moment that your mind felt "clouded" and you could not understand why you couldn't think "clearly". I did, until i picked up my first book. The books that were offered to you through the mail from them would have CLEARED YOUR MINDS FOREVER and you do not even know it. Keep bashing if you must , but please bash companys you know about!

Why Not Believe In What Is Simply Speaking About Being Positive!

AUTHOR: Danny - (U.S.A.)

I am not attempting to engage in any philosophical phight with any of the self proclaimed philosophers on this page. And I am not excert all my energy into trying to read or seem intelligent; I am simply commenting, and would like to keep it as simple as possible. Firstly, I am a firm believer in positive thinking, and believing in that which one cannot physically see, in fact I choose to believe more in what I can't physically see, than in what I do physically see. Secondly, out of all the posts I read, it is rare to find one where the writer writes "I have purchased the book", so far it has been less than a handful.

I simply read the 50+ booklet, and whether it was coincidence or not, several major good things did happen immediately -- A stock I purchased suddenly just kept rising, and still is. I am in the music business and was able to strike a production deal with a major entertainment figure. It may not sound like much, but it happened soon after reading the booklet. I ordered the 1000 page book, and am not planning on returning it regardless of whether it contains special powers or not, I am simply curious, and would not mind applying whatever positive suggestions are available.

I always say, there are some people who believe there is a God, and there are those who don't, which is quite alright, however, why not believe in God even if it doesn't exist? Because God represents positivity and goodness, and isn't that what we all want? At least I do. No one forced me to send for the 1000 page book, but I feel I need to read it for myself, besides I've spent what they're asking for on pizza, and gadgets I now have laying around, or used as paper weights.

Stay positive everyone, and maybe we can all understand what this is all about. -dc Don Ruby

geesh, relax

AUTHOR: The - (U.S.A.)

i got the supposedly 1st class letter, read all 8 pages, and coulnd't stop laughing. took a little random searching on the net to find out what it was all about. from reading these posts i gather it's some company called neo-tech and they send you a 55 page book with life concepts in it, then offer to let you buy a 100 page book for some amount. i appologize to those neo-tech customers if my laughter at the initial letter sent them and negative vibes. i don't know whether this company is real or not, or if this is an actual scam, or if the posts in here are by real people or just paid plants. i do know that this is just a marketing strategy. i claim to know this for 2 reasons:

1: my letter stated that this association had reviewed my profile...um, what profile? on what website? i'm currently in college and have a facebook profile, and i have a myspace profile, but they are pretty devoid of anything except a couple pictures of me. so there's not much information about my special characteristics there...so that whole bit about reviewing my profile is obviously bogus, at least in my case.

2: the letter was addressed to a fake name...internet safety warns people about handing out their personal information to unkown sources. knowing this i personally never use my full real name. i intentionally use a fake name so that when things like this letter appear in my mailbox i know that some company has given out my contact information in one way or another and now i am on some company's mass mailing list.

that's why i was laughing as i read my supposedly personalized 8 page letter. the person the letter was addressed to doesn't exsist. i wish i could post a picture on this website because i would totally show you the letter and a personal id or something (with any actual vital information besides my name blocked out, duh). i can't say this is a scam or not because i'm too poor to spend $140 on a book unless it's a textbook and i'm quite content with my life anyways. all i'm here to say is: i recieved a letter using a fake name, to me that's just a sign of mass-mailing marketing. nothing wrong with that in my book, just junkmail.

if those of you reading this are really interested or concerned about such things, maybe you should start using false names online too. my mom has a friend who uses a different name for every thing he does online. then he keeps track of what name he used for what so he knows who exactly is sending him junk and his giving his information to other companies. i'm way too much of a lazy college kid to go that far. but i do get a kick out of recieving mail addressed to my fake name. :)

I Got this and I knew it all Began!

AUTHOR: Russ - (U.S.A.)

Yes I know that the title makes you think that I am on the companies side "nouveau tech. or what ever it spells "now you" is what I call it.

I understand that they might not rip you off directly as others state "oh its stupid, its a rip off". However you have to be really smart or really dumb not to realize that all this is scam!

First let me tell you a little about me so you'll understand what the letter did in my life. I'm a Greek Catholic, needless to say I was born and raised in a little country in Europe. I was not the smartest kid in school, nor was I "ideal" but everybody liked me for who I was. One day my grandma set me down and told me my future by reading the cards, don't ask me i do not know how she does this but all she told other people came true, and could see their past that she told them true as well. Right away she told me that I will have some major struggles in my life, but ill be well wealthy and happy in the end.

Long story short is that I live in US now and have many more opportunities. When i got this letter, i got chills on my body while reading this, I thought to myself "my grandmas predictions start here". NOT! as I got the "free" 55p. book i've already been able to see that is a scam, all those stories somewhat related to original letter I've got from them. What they have promised, they did not give give you, plain and simple!

Now i see all you people saying if you did not purchase dont speak since you have nothing to speak for, but when will you pull your head out of your bun? WHY would any person with a brain in its head but something from someone who LIES to them in first place?

You said it teaches you the nutritions and all that, right? Well thats not the impression "NT" is setting in their letters!

I'm into natural bodybuild i know about nutrition, and for most part exercise does give me more energy! Do you have to pay $140 for somebody to tell you that? Well i just did! will you pay me? I dont think so, and thats because I put it into plain English instead of confusing and misinforming you even a little bit.

All it is, is a power of will, yes human brain holds the greatest power, you just have to know how to use it! Ill tell a true story that happened to my cousins neighbor: he went to the woods for mushroom picking, and he been bit my a snake (i dont know how it happened, the point is it happened) he had a measure and was paralyzed by the venom, poor guy died! After his dead they determined that snake wasn't poisoned, but he sure thought it was. His brain killed him?

PS I have nothing against "NTC" they do what they have to do, what they believe in and what they are based on. Its a free country and everybody has freedom of speech.

But you are the consumer so you decide believe them or not. Personally life thought me not to believe anyone but my very close relatives. Not even best friends, we all people and we all have a mind of our own!

PPS Reading this last line you will think (and its natural) that all I have said is a bogus because I'm only seventeen years old. But even than i have a brand new 2006 car, I'm a full time student and have two part time jobs, and on my ways to become an Architect. It doesn't take $140 out of your pocket to realize that you have to put your mind to everything you do.

And I don't approve that "there is no God" statement, I'm Catholic and my believes make perfect sense to me. And nobody has a right to come in your life and say "you have to wipe your bottom with your left hand". NTC. thats up to us isn't it? if we would think like you, we would be you.

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

I got this over the summer and if they had been watching me they'd have known I didn't have the money to buy the book. I really wished I had. If anyone has it I'd love for them to contact me to discuss it at (((email redacted))).

Otherwise I've seen two movies that I think have taught me the secrets of this society- "what the bleep do we know" and "The Secret". Both worth checking out. This company did send me the 55 page booklet free so I was happy about that.

I just got this too just a ?

AUTHOR: Southern - (U.S.A.)

heyal,

i just got the letter this evening and wanted a response by feb 2, which it came in a day late?

my question is..

if this is such a secret society how do many people know about this?

and alot of these "free reports" lead you round and round and omg i had one that was "my grandmother made great cookies"

i don't mind ad's i actually like infomercials lol but best approach to selling something is believing in what you sell!

and give thousands of people this same letter is truely taking the times of events to lure you in as in all says there is glitch.. good or bad.

me personally i just rather hear what ya got and put your money where your mouth instead of the templar method like this.

and people always know if there isn't away to contact an organization, business to show proof of actual building.... don't do it.

would be kewl if it was out there but since the begining of time weather walking the jew's through the desert or falling a link to a site to sit there forever to find out for you its $39.99.

just thought i'd let you know you don't send things out that can't make reply dates either.

good luck,
belle

Not a ripoff

AUTHOR: Ryan - (U.S.A.)

I am still not understanding why everyone is so negative about this company. Neo-Tech. You claim they are a rip-off or scam, yet their main site doesn't even sell anything - www.neo-tech.com

If you want proof, just visit their site and its a good 2 hours of FREE reading that will truly open and expand your mind.

The writings of neo-tech don't focus on cults and spaceships, they focus on key elements to live a healthy, prosperous life. I started reading these concepts about 6 years ago when I was 18, I have applied much of what I have learned, I have confidence in my abilities to deal with people, just as promised, I excel rapidly at work, consistantly out-perform everyone, and my mind is clear of silly superstitions.

I have killed the "laziness disease" that plagued me for many years out of my desire to be a true value creator and do good for myself and others.

All I can say is, read the site - www.neo-tech.com - you will have a great understanding about what it's all about... then get the Discovery, it IS a life changing piece of literature. Worth every penny.

Neo-Tech also posts all the negative remarks right on their website, what a ripoff and scam! But honestly, most of the negativity is unfounded, people who HAVENT read the literature, know nothing about the company, or are simply religious nuts who will say or do anything to destroy something their "god" doesn't like...

I am here to tell you that they DO live up to their promises, you will be more prosperous, you will have a psychological advantage over people, you will wake up happier in the mornings, Nouveau Tech (Neo-Tech) truly is a phenominal company, but again, just go read their website and stop wasting your time here.

Where's the proof?

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Dear Phil in Mnneola, FLA, what a good defense you give of this supposed society. Steve in Reno and Michael in Oregon, you got it right! Phil, you ask if any of us have been ripped off by this "society" suggesting that until that should occur, we should remain silent. You know what? I'm opposed to murder. Now please understand that I have never been murdered and, I guess, by your argument I should first be murdered before I can render a plausible reply. Have you ever considered the concept of common sense? Too bad to see that you have been body snatched by this deplorable scam.

Smoky

I'am sorry you feel that way

AUTHOR: Michael - (U.S.A.)

I can only feel sorry for those of you who don't see this company for what it is,A BIG RIP OFF.
The fact that you couldnt tell from the letter that this is a scam really suprises me. I had no idea that so many people could fooled by such CRAP even after being informed. I truly hope that those responding to this in defense of the company are some way connected with it and are getting paid for their writings,if they arn't then it would mean they were really really naive or just plain ignorant, which is almost worse than there being a company like this. As for my self i dont think they are that foolish. I believe they are being paid for their support.

scam or misrepresentation (a rose is a rose)

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

I also received the mysterious letter the so called non mass mailing offering me the shall we say the secrets of the universe and though I don't have any degree I had the intelligence and insite to not respond. If infact Nouveau Tech had all of the answers they offer they would be giving their so called powers to the public FREE.
They have nothing to offer that your public library dos'nt offer.

It seems to me they are targeting the desperate people who might jump at the chance for a miracle cure all...Wize up people there is none. The mailing is strictly a marketing tactic for their benifit, are they going to give you any of their profit? I think not,yet they ask you for your money for information already available through public sources.

All I really have to say is look before you leap. Anything that says "ABSOLUTELY FREE with no strings attached " then they want you to buy something.. well I don't think it takes a college grag . to figure out the rest.

No facts just bashing

AUTHOR: Philip J. - (U.S.A.)

To All:

So far I've read all that has been posted and it's to my knowledge that none of you have given any proof to the actual rip-off or the actual benifits of this company. The internet is a vast area of information and some treat it as their own personal whipping post.

People come here for information not BS arguments.

Simply put,

Put up or shut up!

Ed, you say you've been an avid customer for 15 years, are you a millionaire yet? Have you walked into casino's and won hand after hand of black jack?

To those of you who have claimed to be ripped off by NTS, have you spent any money that was not refunded to you with in the certain time period that was claimed to be a refund time, 90 days?

None of you can answer simple questions, why is that? Consumers come here for answer's and facts not endless banter and bashing.

Where's the proof? What's the story and why are so many willing to claim they know that this is a ripp-off when it's obviously just another company offering life's advice to those who are willing to invest a little bit of there time to perhaps better themselves with the information that is provided by NTS. I personally will be reading the information sent to me, but I will be able to form my own opionion and if any of the information is worth it, I will post yet another article of belief or dis-belief in their products. Call me a field tester and or call it what you will. The world needs more open minded people in it and less people willing to shoot down the idealisms that this country have been based on since this country of ours was founded.

Have a great day! I know I'm going too!

Yet more of the same

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Scott: what? I hear your many words but honestly none of them make any sense whatsoever, other that "stop picking on these poor folks who only want to help others." I have given an open challenge to you who extoll the benefits of this so-called "society" and to date have heard nothing whatsoever that would justify the expediture of funds.

To David K: you refer to "ad hominen attacks". Are you fluent in Latin? Do you know what "ad hominen" means? I do not know the man, therefore am not able to level an ad hominen attack. Brush up on your Latin. While you are at it, would you please learn how to communicate a simple thought in less than 20 words? Your response to my last posting was the most amazing conglomeration of words without meaning that it leaves me breathless! Look this one up, supposed scholar of Latin: "non sequitur".

Dear Chris and David, how interesting your responses are! You are truly effusive in your support of Nuveau Tech and yet lack objective support or testimony of how this so-called society has benefitted you. If I was an employee of them, I am sure I would give such support as you give. Nouveau Tech Society is an honest business from my experience

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

I am here to tell everyone that I have been a well satisfied customer of Nouveau Tech Society products since 1991. Over the past 15 years I have most earnestly purchased dozens and dozens of Nouveau Tech products (some of which I have bought multiple copies of to give as gifts to family members and close friends). In fact, I always look forward to receiving in the mail their newest offerings due to the truly incalculable value their products have given me over the years.

A small and general sample of the concepts, values and intellectual understandings that I have gained from the Nouveau Tech Society literature over the years include: the nature of value creation and value production; the importance of taking responsibility for my own actions and words; the need for self discipline; the value of living a rational life; learning of fully integrated honesty; expanding self awareness and self acceptance; a rational view of the nature of man and woman; the benefits of a low carb high protein diet with proper aerobic exercise; dealing honestly with my own emotions and others'; dealing honestly and objectively in personal, business and romantic relationships; learning to identify who in our society is truly the value producer and who is the value destroyer, thus allowing me to properly support the value producer and ridding myself of the harmful value destroyer; and understanding the supreme benefits that business, science and art has to offer everyone.

In short, the Nouveau Tech Society (a.k.a. Neo-Tech Publishing) over the years has opened the door for me to a whole new world of pro-life literature, which was previously completely unknown to me (yet desperately needed in our world today). The Nouveau Tech Society (NTS) has thus greatly aided me by giving me the tools to expand my own consciousness of myself and of my world around me, peeling off layers of mystical debilitating preconceptions, thus freeing me from the only disease of human consciousness mysticism the mind crippling disease of stupidity and therefore also allowing me to be free from those who might try to dishonestly manipulate mysticisms still within me for their own unearned gain.

I have always found those whom I deal with at the Nouveau Tech Society to be of the highest forthrightness and character. While I imagine with any transaction between a customer and a business something could innocently go wrong even beyond the control of the consumer or the business itself, I personally, though, in 15 years have never had any trouble with my purchasing of NTS' products nor with the quality of any products themselves.

After reading some of the negative comments listed on this site they seem not only foreign to my own experience with NTS, but simply silly due to the fact that most if not all of the complainants admittedly have never even bought any NTS product nor had any contact with NTS beyond receiving a free brochure in the mail.

The fact that emotions are based on what we think rather than purely on what we see is reinforced by the misguided attacks listed on this site against the Nouveau Tech Society. For, I too have received the Neo-Tech brochures as these others have, but my first impressions were exactly the opposite. I immediately sensed that, although what was promised was truly amazing and exciting, after I carefully read the brochure I realised that what was being offered had nothing to do with any flim flam, taking irrational short cuts, dishonesty of any sort, or any other con artistry whatsoever. In fact, I had the overwhelming sense that what was being offered was rooted in effort, objectivity, rationality and science, which is why I willingly made my first purchase from Nouveau Tech 15 years ago and continue to purchase from NTS till this day.

I am now 34 years old and have had many years experience of not only dealing with the Nouveau Tech Society, but with several other direct publishing companies that also offer of individualistic nature intellectual products and I can say with earned authority and actual practical experience that I know that when I purchase from the Nouveau Tech Society that I will be receiving books and other products of the finest and highest intellectual quality and done with superb conscientious customer care.

To be sure, I have never given a testimonial for any other product that I've used nor for any other company that I have purchased from, but when I saw the scandalous negative ad hominen attacks listed on this site directed against a company whose products have given me so much life enhancing value and that have raised the quality and standard of my own life more considerably so than any other influence I know I must speak up and expose these irrational people's negative comments and attacks as completely false ad hominem attacks. Those who have posted these negative comments, which are from people who admit haven't even purchased any of Nouveau Tech's products and who apparently don't mind lambasting an honest business and it's hard created values are truly the ones RIPPING PEOPLE OFF from the incalculable values NTS has to offer everyone.

If anyone has any questions about my experience with the Nouveau Tech Society or their products please feel free to post here.

Sincerely,
David K
Chicago, IL

PS To reiterate, the reason that I am writing this testimonial of my own experience with purchasing from the Nouveau Tech Society and my satisfaction with their products over the past 15 years is because after reading on the internet some of these dishonest attacks by people who from their own statements don't know the first thing about the Nouveau Tech Society literature or other products - since they haven't even bought any of NTS' products and who don't mind posting negative and dishonest attacks against an effort-intense honest business, I would truly hate to see anyone misguidedly not take advantage of the Nouveau Tech literature and miss out on what I and many others would consider some of the most intellectually life-lifting literature ever written. Or worse yet have an equally misguided government bureaucracy decide for others that they will not be able to purchase and read the Nouveau Tech Society literature nor to ever even know of its existence. This last would be the greatest tragedy of such misguided and irrational attacks committed against a genuinely honest and value creating business.

PPS My father whom I haven't seen in sometime and who lives out of state (and whom I've spoken little to about the Nouveau Tech Society) came to visit me the other day on Easter Sunday and he let me know that (for the first time) recently he received a mailing from the Nouveau Tech Society and how he replied (he too had a different view than those who attack Nouveau Tech on this site) to get a free pamphlet they were offering. The pamphlet stated that his luck would soon change and financially it greatly did. Coincidence? Perhaps; but I still encouraged my own senior citizen father to get the newest full manuscript and benefit from all it has to offer, as I have, and also encourage others to do as well.

PPPS I know that at least since I first bought my first Nouveau Tech Society book back in 1991 that all their books come with a money back guarantee.

I got this letter today and did some homework. which lead me to this site. First no one has proved in any way that is is a rip-off!
Second the letter does not state that it will make you millons. Say it can teach you how! Just like college folks.

Third a company that advertises has to make the money back some how. That would be why you have to buy the book! Uhhh goto the local college and take a class in marketing. This will be explaned to you.

Now for the people who feel they get to belittle someone for askin a question. Did your mom and dad, teacher or pastor make fun of you when you had a question? Then why would you do it to someone else? I've seen about 5-6 post from a person that puts down people for asking you to give proof. And all you can say is it's a scam. I don't understand "HOW?" when someone ask's me to explain something I try to give facts. But I guess that's just me!

I'll agree that things in this letter don't fully make sense. But then again. I'll show you a book that one of the first rules is don't kill. And then I'll show you every war that was started by them! Why becuz WE did't believe the same thing they did! Ohhh these are the same people that also killed the person that came to save them? Crazy huh. That make no sense to me! And I use the term "we" cuz "the church" nearly wiped my religion off the face of the plant cuz we don't belive the same thing! But its ok!

All ya have to do is say "I'm sorry" and you'll be in the happy place when you die! So please explain to me how you got ripped off? Please. I beg you.

And on that note, now will buy this so I can learn, not cuz I believe that by readin a book will make me millions. Cuz if that were the case I think we would all be rich and not haveing this debate!

Much love To everyone!
P.S. sorry for spelling errors and if I upset you or made fun of your religion. Was not my intent.

Oh dear Chris!

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Oh dear Chris, you state that Nouveau Tech delivers all that they promise, namely a 1000 page booklet. Did you just skim their slick come-on mailing? They promised much more than a 1000 page booklet. They promise health, wealth and prosperity, all of this for the amazing low price of....well you know the rest. I have been besieged by astrologists promising to encant me through the proper alingments of stars and planets, yada yada puke! since receiving the "Nouveau Tech" mailing. You state that they delivered on their promise? Are you now wealthy? Are you benefitting from their booklet of presumed "secrets"? Tell me how you have benefitted in the form of documented proof.

Nouveau Tech

AUTHOR: Ed - (U.S.A.)

A lot of banter back and forth about whether the company is legitimate. Nouveau Tech gives unique perspectives on life. Their material is based on business experience applied to an ever changing world.

I have profited from their material. They show how the world is, the process of how it evolves and mans future place in the solar system.

The material is controversial and breaks a lot of the common held beliefs people have.

Open your eyes!!!

AUTHOR: Tanner - (U.S.A.)

Maria, if you would simply open your eyes and realize you cannot believe everything you hear (or read) you would understand the points of view everyone here have expressed.
First off, let me address your claim that everyone here is bashing the "company": this site IS called rip off report for a reason and that reason is to report rip offs to prevent others from doing something perhaps they will wish they hadnt done.
Second, if you actually read through the junk you were sent in the mail, you can tell this "company" cannot do all they promies they will do, which indicates it is a rip off as described above.
Finally, a lesson learned early in life: Nothing is free!
I would like to know these methods they mentioned about peoples "powers" being useless against [me]. Example: Gulliable person A and Gilliable person B both fall for this scam and happen to randomly meet somewhere - do their "powers" cancel eachother out?! It seems as though everyone here is in cycle 2 of their lives!
Maria, I leave you with this. We are all here to better eachother and watch out for eachother because we know no one else will. This site is also about awareness and hopefully prevention. Listen to us Maria because afterall, we are the chosen ones!

Free Invitation Form

AUTHOR: Zane - (U.S.A.)

I received a similiar letter; however, it was a Free Invitation Form stating that it was absolutely free then in closing completely free of charge, today!

Now, if I submit the request by the due date and it is not completely free of charge, then it is a Rip-off and I am the victim.

Has anyone ordered the material?

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

I am curious if anyone who claims this is a rip off has ordered the material?

BECAUSE I DID.

I am beginning to think that I am the only individual who did. And I want to set the record straight. This company doesn't rip you off. A rip off is defined as "one who robs, cheats or steals from another." They send you exactly what they say they are going to, a 1000 page book.

I can't attest to the promises they make however. So far it hasn't changed my life. But I didn't purchase the book thinking that it would. I think most individuals will see that those promises are something called marketing. And I feel most intelligent, rational individuals will be able to see that. I personally purchased the book to see what they had to say. Because you won't know until you have read the book.

But what if this book gives you a new perspective on life then is worth the money? Well I guess that you will have to order the book, read it in 90 days and send it back for the money back guarantee if you don't feel it was worth the money.

Now what I do find illegal and disheartening is something called slander. Which is the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations, which defame and damage another's reputation. If you haven't ordered the book then you truly can't say whether the company is a rip off or not. Can you? And if you can't say that then why are you here posting misinformation?

I have no intentions of arguing back and forth about this posting. Because when it comes down to it you are not going to change my opinion and I am not going to change yours. And besides I don't want to throw stones back and forth just to throw them. I have neither the time nor energy.

Now some feel that those who purchase this book are uneducated, simple, suckers or brainwashed. I can assure you that I am none of the above. I have two degrees and not the kind you can purchase online. Although I don't believe that a college degree is a indication of intelligence or lack there of. I would however like to note that I have spent more on a college textbook that I couldn't return after reading and get 100% of my money back.

I am currently on page 100. And have enjoyed the book so far.

Sincerely,

Good Grief Marla! You state that you a student of philosphy and are only seeking answers and are so offended by our thoughts regarding this supposed group.

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Marla, I am totally mystified as to your last response. You state that you a student of philosphy and are only seeking answers and are so offended by our thoughts regarding this supposed group. Did you think you would find philosophical enlightenment by exploring the comments of people in the "Bad Business Bureau" web site? Are you seeking enlightenment by reading postings on a web site? What manner of philosophical discipline do you study? Jerry Springer? So glad to hear that you will not be back again, as we are really not interested in your defense of a bogus group designed to rid people of their money. Bye bye, "Marla".

Out Out Damn Spot

AUTHOR: Marla - (U.S.A.)

...William wrote for his exhasperated character.

People come here looking for information but you are treating it like an adolescent message board where you can flame and defeat everyone who threatens to turn a mirror in your face.

You fools think that just because you are lying and up to no good, everyone else is. Do you believe the world has no philosophy students or that one could not possibly land here; that if one seeks the truth they must be an employee of the truth sought?

I have nothing but compassion for you, but if you had the brains you think you have, you would see that I am not defending the site, I am asking for information; nor is my writing style -- though more complex than your own and intelligent -- has no commonalities with the person who actually does defend the site and admits to it, btw.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Don't respond to me since I won't be back. But of course the responses are for your own egos and not for me, anyway. Don't quit your day job.... Oh, but you don't have one.

AUTHOR: Edward - (U.S.A.)

My what a deep thinking group!

I am interested in this company/society as well.
Who are they. Laying claims to Illuminati?
What's next? Knights Templar? Simon Templar?

Does anyone have any answers concerning this odd letter or shall we just continue to sling mudpies across the room.

Not very Zeitgeist now, is it?

Oh Marla! innocently cruising the net and, horror of horrors!

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Oh dear Marla, what a response you have to share! Just imagine, everyone, as a "student of philosophy" here she is, innocently cruising the net and, horror of horrors! she finds people attacking an innocent web site. "Fosooth!" says she, "I will protect this poor, innocent web site from the infidels!" Dear Marla, we are not fooled by your presumably neutral status. If indeed you are a student of philosophy, would you care to share with us the three basic tenets of Kirgegaard?

Yours for honesty,

No one has responded with anytihing valid

AUTHOR: Marla - (U.S.A.)

Please don't mistake me for an entity to attack without cause; I am just a casual inquirer. I don't have any association with the Nuvo Tech society nor did I have a moment's difficulty in recognizing that the letter is geared toward very uneducated and desperate people. My point is that you seem to have nothing but an "intuition" by which you feel justified in insulting and slandering this company (and this website seems to not have any concern in that). Isn't that also low and false and similar to the claims you are making against them or did I miss some hidden pages containing actual facts and stories?

As a lifetime student of philosophy, history, religion and literature my only interest in the society is strictly curiosity - I was doing some casual research after receiving the strange and poorly worded letter, found out they considered themselves a philosophy and also found this site. I then felt a moral obligation to ask for evidence.

My question still remains: if this is a legitimate site with legitimate complaints, where are the legitimate facts? Don't you have anything better to do than denounce the efforts of some society you really know nothing about who has done little more than create false hope in you that you now feel you must make pay for? You did catch on right away... didn't you?

I am looking for actual cases of abuse and fraud. Please do not reply if you have no facts or proof.

Good reponse Rob

AUTHOR: Smoky - (U.S.A.)

Rob, you point out some good issues, as regards postal prices. I'm wondering if this so-called "Society" has tax exempt status with the IRS. If so, they run the risk of forfeit. As regards "Marla's" response (duh, any hear of the invasion of the body snatchers?) yes, "Marla" you did request a donation of truly outrageous price with no garuantee of delivery. As snake oil goes, the "Society" is without equal. I would look forward to your reply, dear "Marla" as regards the claims your "Society" makes, and the garuantee you might make in the event that your promises do not come true.

How's this for "evidence"?

AUTHOR: Rob - (U.S.A.)

Wish I'd seen your request first, Maria, but I think the posting I made about this company the very next day after your comments serves as proof of the invalidity and falsity of this Nouveau group. I certainly hope that satisfies your request, at least somewhat. After all, your request for proof sounds as if you'd only be satisfied if someone who lost quite a lot money issued a notarized claim. Don't look down on us because we were smart enought to know the difference.

Glad to see that so many others realized this falsity so quickly.

For me, it was rather obvious in the second sentence: "this letter came to you by first-class mail, not by third-class bulk mail." Just look at the envelope this came in; it's marked "presorted" and uses only a discount rate of 29 cents in postage.

This fact in postage rate also disclaims another statement: "this association picks a handful of individuals from around the world." To achieve that 29 cent rate, however, a minimum of 200 of these letters were mailed simultaneously.

And viewing multiple complaints on the web over very many years disproves another claim in the letter; they claim to only contact people "every seven years" regarding their organization. But it's apparent that folks have been contacted by them every consecutive year for quite a few years, due to the consistent annual complaints found on the Internet.

Isn't public issuance of such false claims, with obvious intentions to achieve sales in the long run, an illegality?

Where is your proof; evidence; anything? Just wondering

AUTHOR: Marla - (U.S.A.)

I have read several "reports" that contain little real information. If this company is trying to "rip off" anyone, can you please be specific: did they ask you for some donation or to purchase an overpriced product? I recieved the same letter as everyone else here who, apparently, know as little as I do about the society. I'm so surprised to see these as actual "reports." What are you reporting? Do you have any real information; and if not, why are you wasting everyone's time. If this is a scam, I am very interested to know exactly how it is classified that way. Anyone? Thanks. Marla
