Steve Morgan called me repeatedly ( 3 to 4  times per week ) for July 2011 to Sept 2011 stating he could save me $200 to $300 per month on my credit card processing . I told him I was not interested yet he continued to call . He then sent  me a Edible arrangement  on Sept 13th 2011 . When I called  to thank him he said he would just stop by . I told him I was in another lease and I was not still interested yet he came in any way .

 Steve showed up in the middle of the afternoon while I was busy . He said that he  would save  me  $200  to $300 per month of C.C. fees , that there would be no P.C.I. compliance  fees , that what the other company was doing was illegal and that  his lawyer would sue for the illegal fees and return them to me.  He then said that the terminal need up dated  that he would send it back to the company that I needed to  use his terminal , that the paper / supply would be included , that he would pay for the cancellation fees  up to $ 500 .

 Steve then put everything into a lap top said that he was sure he could save  the  $200 &  $ 300 and the above incentives , ( which was  showed on the screen  lap top ) . I asked for a copy and he said that everything was done on the lap top to save paper and that he would send a copy when he got back to the office .  

 After a few weeks I notice nothing was as Steve said . My fees where much higher , he never sent the paper work that was on the lap top , the agreement was extend from 1 year to 4 years , the carry was changed and they started pulling money out of my account  etc. I called him telling him that I was within my 45 days and wanted this cancelled . He said everything has bugs we needed to work them out. I said NO I JUST WANT OUT OF THIS NOW!!!  he said I`ll fix it . He did not fix anything and would not return any of  my calls  .  I then called his supervisor Kate O`Lauglhin she said Steve correct and nothing would change .  I  then called Steve again and he picked up  this time he said nothing would change and threaten me saying I was going to PAY AND THAT I WAS NOT GETTING OUT OF THIS HE WOULD SEE TO IT AND DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN he then hung up on me.

 This has now cost me addition  $1000 in fees , cancellations etc. STAY AWAY FROM STEVE MORGAN / KATE O`Lauglin  with Nova Merchant Services / PayProtec , Northen Leasing .

P.S. If you get a change and face him with the proof of his LIES he will start to cry and say he has a family to provide for . ( Don`t we ALL )

I was searching for the Nova Merchant Services LLC website (NovaMerchantServicesLLC.com) and one of the top search results was the rip off report on this company. Because I had such a positive experience with them I wanted to try and give my two cents to this claim.

I am not aware of anything having to do with this complaint so I cant comment on it specifically, but I can say that both Steven Morgan and Kate conducted themselves in a professional manner and were extremely helpful when I had any questions. Steven drove out to my house in order to deliver my equipment, and then again when my son spilled soda on it and the company offered a replacement....no cost. Whenever I have had questions on my statement either Kate or Steven have been available to answer them without having me call customer service and wait on hold for the automated answering system.

I think both Steven and Kate are very good people just trying to do their jobs and they do them very well. The one thing I agree with from the complaint was that Steven Morgan did send me an edible arrangements as well, which I thought was a very nice thing to do. I am also in an equipment lease as well as a processing agreement, but I honestly believe the benefits of the program have been worth the contract terms and they were clearly stated on the paperwork I signed. I never have to buy terminal paper again and like I mentioned before, they replaced my terminal when I needed one.

Anyway, I just wanted to throw in my two cents since they have been so good to me. Hopefully everything gets worked out with this complaint and other people are not scared off because of it.
