We were told they had a great coverage area and was shown a map of all the covered areas. Our town was covered, barely, but covered. When asked if we could expect dropped calls, etc. we were told no that they would bounce off of other towers to maintain the call. Signed up for a 2 year contract and bought 3 Samsung Galaxy S smartphones. The plan was great, $180 for 3 smartphones, unlimited everything and no roaming charges.
Since then, I can't even count how many dropped calls I've had and missing texts to people that they didn't get until days later. I called the Customer Care Center and was told that our service area ends where we live and when we experience dropped calls, it because it picks up signal from the Sprint towers. I am very displeased with the quality of service and if they can't be honest and straight forward, at least tell me that I will have trouble making or receiving calls or texts. Our contract ends in a year and my husband has already said he is willing to go back to Verizon. Even though they had a crappy contract.
