OCWEN Loan Servicing, LLC OCWEN Zombie miscellaneous charges, misapplied payments, incorrect statements West Palm Beach, Florida

A 2005 re-finance resulted in my loan being sold to Ocwen - the problems began about 24 months later:

My statements began showing that I was behind a payment when I have never, throughout the life of the loan been behind, or even late, with a payment. For some reason, a late charge wasn't added, so, after a harrowing call to the service center in India, I just let it go and continued making payments. OCWEN showed me a payment behind, but still did not add late charges.

Then various charges in small amounts began showing up. Certified mail fees, processing fees, motion fees, none of which were applicable to my loan. They were small, so I just paid them and let OCWEN slide.

Than, November, 2011, my entire mortgage payment was misapplied to escrow, which threw my account into arrears. After months of dealing with them, having my attorney write two letters, they admitted they had misapplied the monies and sent me a check.

I didn't want a check! I wanted them to apply the payment as it should have been in November. They were soooo generous, they even waived the late fee - for one month. Because of THEIR error, my account showed late fees accrued for five months. I, just trying to get this resolved, went ahead and paid the late fees which accrued because of THEIR error. Now my account shows everything current and paid.

HOWEVER, today my statement showed a $13.06 certified letter fee. I was NEVER sent a certified letter. A call to the service center was the usual run-around with a heavily accented Indian telling me she didn't have the authority to talk with me.

I AM SOOOOO FRUSTRATED. These OCWEN errors are adding up to cost quite a bit of money. Are they doing these things to others, others who, like me, ignore the small incidental, ungrounded fees and just let it slide? Something must be done!
