After reading many of the reports filed on this site, it has come to my attention that it is time the home owners should file a class action suit against this company. I too have had the same problems as many of you that have already reported. We were given to Ocwen when Aegis Mortgage Company filed Bankruptcy. We were on a forebearance program and then in November were sent a letter to bring the account current, that we would longer be on the forebearance program. The first certified letter came November 16 with a demand payment by December 16. Then we get a second certified letter dated November 19 with a demand payment for 1/2 the payment of the November 16 letter to be made by December 16. Then we get a third certified Demand letter December 17 demanding payment by January 17 with the same amount of money due (adding $5.21 more to the payment) that was due in the November Letter. We are current with our payments. We have proof of this. So what they are trying to pull, just does not make sense and to reach them by phone is a nightmare. To email them, you are really lucky if you get a reply of which they claim they will replay to you within 15 days. Whoop tee doo!! According to the Govenment Pamphlet on Fair Credit Practices, Section 805, clearly states that frequent calling (of which no one is on the other line either) is a form of Harrassment and is illegal. Well, with reading all the reports that have been given on this web site, maybe it is time that a class action lawsuit be filed to wake the company up. Oh, by the way, when they outsource to third world companies, and then ask for my social security number, are they crazy!!!! There is no way in "Gods Green Earth" I am going to give anyone outside the United States my Social Security Number. I contacted my attorney and she said we have a great case. Maybe someone should put their money where their mouths are and prove to others that they honor what they say on their Web site. Do I have any takers. If you are interested in going with me in a class action law suit, please contact me through this web site and I will find a way that we can all communicate to get one started. I will watch this site daily to see how many people are really serious about starting the procedure. Without you there will be no releif for so many of us and more in the future.

to our attention that it is time for all home owners affected by Ocwen Mortgage
Company should file a class action lawsuit against this company. My mother too has
had the same problems as many of you have already reported (increased mortgage,
added late fees, misappropriated funds, returned payments, lies stating they
never received payments that were automatically paid by the bank, added home
insurance when we paid our own insurance, false statements stating they paid
the property taxes when we had already paid our own taxes, will not return
phone calls or respond to mail requesting documentation, continuous conducts harassing
phone call, and trying to foreclose on property.
Yes we are takers for the class action law suit, and we reside in Kansas
City, KS. If you can figure out how others in another state can get involved in
the class action suite count us in. I know people all over the country have
suffered and been affected by this companys corrupt practices. You're more
than welcome to contact us if you decide to proceed. My mother and I would
definitely be interested in joining. My mothers is a senior citizen and her
health has been failing fighting with this company.

hi,
I too am having major problems with this company! I was recently switched over, without notice, to this company from homewards a couple of days ago. Now this company is telling me that I have $2000 and some odd dollars in fees and that my mortgage is $400 more than I have been paying for the last 7 yrs. I have no idea what these fees are and I am definitely not going to accept having to pay more than what I agreed on contract for my mortgage. I would like to be apart of this suit against this company and take down this scam of a business. There are so many scam and rip off reports against them it's unreal. I won't stand for this! please respond and we can discuss this further. Thank you.

Carl, just wanted to let you know I spoke personally with you a year ago and the same with Carlyn. This is Leah from Michigan not gonna take it. Just wanted to let you all know I'm waiting for my court date since I have filed a lawsuit against Ocwen with my lawyer. I have presently placed my home on the market and is pending after 1 week. My redemption period was up December 28, 2013 and my lawsuit was filed on Dec.8th 2013 which put an immediate stop to everything. My lawyer says I do have the right to sell my home out right if I would like to since Ocwen breached our agreement of modification on top of forgery to my agreement papers and then mailing fraudulent documents through the U.S. Postal service. If I can get all my equity back from what I put into my home then fine I will be happy if they agree on our payoff $ (not a cent over the day they breached) or I will patiently wait and fight this out in court. There are so many lies and corruptive material out in advertising it is just CRIMINAL!!!!!
I hope the people of America keep standing up to these bastards in the Mortgage Servicing Industry some where there needs to be an end or compromise to this chaos. This has been a long, depressing, stressful, and corrupt 2 year ride I have been fighting against these Domestic Terrorist to say the least. People need to be aware if you don't fight and you just keep rolling over this is not going to end. This will consume your every second you have especially if you work full time good luck. I will keep you guys updated to let you know the outcome.

This is for Java, If you know how to obtain the right lawyer to file a class action lawsuit, will you please set up a Facebook page titled OCWEN Class Action? I originally wrote this article on Ripoff. I tried desperately to find an attorney to help get a class action going, but was led on such a wild goose chase I began to feel there would be no help. I have. Been waiting for someone to say they could get the ball rolling!!so if you truly know a law firm that would be willing to take this case, I know this whole group would be grateful! I lost my home and it was auctioned off Dec 2009.
Only because OCWEN would not work with us, even to do a short sale and we had 2 buyers!!! Rip off will not allow us to post emails etc here, this communicating here is hard to do. Setting up Facebook under the name I mentioned will allow many of us to communicate in order to get this moving forward instead of nothing happening with this site other than showing plenty of evidence to help the case!! So Java, I look forward to seeing the page on Facebook once you can obtain a lawyer who will take this huge class action on!! This is a travesty to all with what OCWEN has done to all of us.

Java, if you know how to obtain a lawyer and get the ball rolling, you have a foundation to go with. I tried several lawyers, and not ever having been involved with this before, I felt I was on a wild goose chase. So if you can find a lawyer to take this on, please let all of us know. Maybe set up a Facebook page under your Java with OCWEN name so we can all talk Openly there. This media is just reporting but beyond that, communications are very hard. My heart breaks every time someone posts, because of the way this site is set up. I was the original poster to this. So many of us have already lost our homes and lives because of what OCWEN has done to each of us. It is a Travesty!! If it had not been for family that I have, I would be homeless today. Fortunately, I am in another dwelling my family owns. OCWEN RIPPED ALL OF US OFF! It is now time to make them pay for the injustice they did to so many. So please, if you know a lawyer who IS willIing take this on, you have all of us waiting to get the ball rolling and to stop this company from continuing on. They took money from the Government then did not help people. Before I lost my home, I had two buyers ready to go for a short sale and because of all the outsourcing this company does, and the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing in this company, many have been victimized by this company! just wanted to say that my mother has Ocwen mortgage services or whatever, and It breaks my heart seeing her struggle to make those never ending mortgage payments. The Banksters got their money not once but TWICE! both times with taxpayer bailout money.. so in all actuality we should own our house right? Here's the thing that gets me, so why do we presently continue to make mortgage payments to these Criminals? Bellflower,California. Time to stand up for our god given birth rights not man given!!

I am 100% in on a class action suit against " Ocwen the Terrible " I wil not go into detail of my personal experience with this company. They have broken rules and changed terms illegally and I am wanting to become involved with a class action suit. I have had the EXACT same things all happen to my husband and I for the last 8 months since they received my loan from Saxon. Missing Funds, Missing Paperwork, Refusal to resend, fees each time they transfer me to a new Acct Mgr or person, sending someone out Weekly to do a Prop Inspection so they say as to why they charge me those fees each and every week , holding or misallocating funds in different accounts like suspense to charge more fees and saying company policy will legally not let them remove any fee not even the CEO can do it.
Now somehow they took my husband off my loan altogether and thuugh he has always been on it and signed and the same as me, they won't talk to him and won't consider his income in the modification and they say he is not on my loan and all the sudden i have an Interest Only Loan that is going up in October to 8.5% they say it is a ARM all the sudden and they actually spoke these words to my wife when she asked them to call Saxon and request proof of our actual loan note and what our actual loan says ( 4th time we asked them to figure it out )
A Rep named Vakeer from India verbally exacted these words in response to my wife.
Wife; I am asking you as a fiduciary of my loan and largest account to please just call or email Saxon for a Statement or a copy of our loan as Ocwen has involved somehow a change in my interest rate, type of loan, amount of loan, where it is applied, people on the loan, eligibility of modification and approval have all slowly changed and we have not been party to nor requested any changes. Please find out and fix our loan before you foreclose on us, it is a reasonable request as you stated you never got anything from Saxon and had nothing in my file on my loan."
This is Ocwen Mgr Vakeer's reply " Ma'am I don't know who gave me this but I am now looking at a document that has your signature on it page 2 so I am going with this. You are responsible for everything, ok to bad. I am not stupid like you, I am sharp and everytime I talk you speak over me. You keep saying the same thing ma'am, this is not my loan nor should this be happening....you want me to respond, ok. you explain why i have this, I don't have to prove why I have charged Certified Letter Fees weekly and Inspection Fees Weekly since day 60 you are late. I not gonna ask Saxon we are sufficient so you can do what you want everybody here gonna tell you the same thing".
DISGRACEFUL that with so much this company is allowed to take over new business to people so they can make more money without being held liable for the damage they leave in their wake.
I am screaming for help, this is ridiculous and should have been cleared up easily but it is like twilight zone and Hostage is all i can describe as feeling. I am scared and sick and my family thus whole life is being altered by Ocwen.
I am desperate to join and stop them. This has been up for 6 YEARS, 6 YEARS and Not ONE single agency or division of government thinks it negligent for this Business to still be dealing with the largest Crisis our nation has ever faced. This company is killing people, I know I have thought desperate things.

Please find a way to contact me and count me in as well. I still own my home through Ocwen after being forced to file bankruptcy 3 1/2 yrs ago bc Ocwen took forever and a day just to receive and assign my loan modification to someone, which never happened...forcing me to file bankruptcy. Didn't help my marriage either with the financial stress which led to a divorce shortly thereafter. Comical to see them post to their website how if you file a loan modification it takes 3 days for an decion & how they're here to help. Really? Please. Tell that to my bankruptcy garnishments. I'm literally in the process of trying to get another loan modification from them just so I can have recent documentation that they are still continuing these slow practices with no intention to approve anything or anything that can be realistically paid by a homeowner. Like who has this lump sump down payments to get in the loan modification--isn't that the reason why you're asking for one due to financial issues?!?!? Also funny how on their sight now, as opposed to years ago when I tried getting a modification, they state no deposit or down payment will be asked to get approved for loan modification. I'm in TN and would love to see a recent class action brought to light against this company.

i to am getting the shaft by Ocwen. got the mod paper work filled out and returned, finial mod payment was in July and then received a letter of rejection after finial payment. house is to be sold at action on Nov. 16th 2012. El Dorado county California. to date i have made all payments. i have gone through all the BS with paper work, phone calls, called today to see if my house is still scheduled for sale and is. Need Help ASAP!!!! Initially, we were approved for the HAMP 3-month trial period with Saxon starting in Jan 12. Completed/notaized documents back to Saxon and continued with the payments now Jan 12-Apr12. Rec'd letter from Saxon - loan transferred to Ocwen in Apr. Immediately called Ocwen - no knowledge but do have original past due arrears and now due in full. May and June still no knowledge of approval but I faxed numerous of times, overnight twice, emailed and mail my documents with Saxon. Late Aug, approved but we are still behind and violated the HAMP program.
Well we are behind because Saxon did not commuicate with Ocwen and Ocwen rejected our payments. I'm sick literally sick trying to work this out with OCWEN. I've gotten no were with my relationship manager and fear losing our home. We have been here 14 years now grandkids fulltime and one with a physical and mentally injury due to shaken baby syndrome. I'm stress and my heart races when I think about Saxon/Ocwen and this nightmare. I don't have the 6800.00 to get out of this mess. I've stayed in contact with Ocwen...Saxon don't return calls...now the Ocwen relationship manager will try a inhouse MOD. This is crazy. My home along with 120 others was involved in a Foreclosure Rescue Scam: Anthony Demarco and his company Demarco Rei were shut down and Anthony DeMarco is in jail.This was done with the help of Rip-Off Report and the FBI.
The straw buyer who "bought" my home Filed Bankruptcy and TBW originally had the mortgage,Ocwen now has all TBW mortgages that were in default.There is a temporary injunction on our homes and we received a court order stating: we could go to mediation and our homes may be able to be saved however there is no guarantee;
The summons also conatained a packet from Ocwen's attorneys asking for paystubs, notarized affidavit of residency,utility bills,w-2 statements. in order to be included in mediation this information was to be received by July 18 of 2011.I sent in all the required documents and on Dec 5,2011 I received a certified letter from Ocwen : There is no resolution or no mortgage to be offered on the real property on sickler avenue in Pennsauken New Jersey.
Guess what??? I do not live in Pennsauken New Jersey I reside in Union city New Jersey which is no where near Pennsauken New Jersey. I bought this to the attention Of the the United States Court IN Pennsylavania and Ocwens attorneys' advised just a "typo error " but same applies to my property no resolution.
I wrote to the Justice Department,on January 20, I received a call from the court in Pennsylavania : I was advised Ocwen cannot offer a loan,I should try and find a mortgage Broker and see if they will refinance or give me a mortgage,She went on to say: Ocwen does not give loans,they are not a bank.
The home is in Bankruptcy, there was forgery,150,00 worth of equity was stolen ,I was charged rent of 2900.
The home was purchsed for 105,00 ,with 30% down and Demarco sold it for 365,000 and kept the proceeds for himself and the straw buyers.,all the equity was stripped!!!
Where am I going to get a mortgage??? I am working part time, all of my equity was stolen. Demarco and his partners in crime stole 31 million dollars from homeowners and now no one wants to help us.
Where is our bail out??? Why can't Obama and Hud take a look at whats happening. Unless I get a bail out loan from our Government,I am literally out of a house!!! I am trying so hard to save so i can get my property back.
What about help for all of us who are being shoved aside becasue we are not rich?? All we are asking is help so we can live normal. My equity was stolen,I have all documentation from the very start.
Once again Hud,the Justice Department,I read about these programs.Please don't let Ocwen get away with this. Read the RipOff Reports ,Ocwen is going from state to state and ruining lives.Please help save our homes. Same story as you all. Sent documents, they received some but not all, then had all and was all set. Then said some were not readable, despite being scanned directly and emailed. I have 5 kids and a dog. Ocwen will not accept any money accept the balance in arrears of $9900. Well I pulled off a miracle and can have that to pay them, but after seeing all of the sad scam stories, I am afraid to pay and lose that money. If it's lost, I'll have no means to move or find suitable housing. What is wrong with this country when they allow things such as this to happen. LET'S DO THIS PEOPLE, SIGN ME UP!!!!!

My situation is very complicated: Ocwen now owns my home that was involved in a foreclosure scam,the Straw buyer filed Bankruptcy,all the equity in the home was stripped (stolen) by the straw buyers and Demarco Rei.
Ocwen has notified me they can offer no resolution to the property but I may proceed to meditaion,"FURTHERMORE " Ocwen did not even put the right address on the court documents,not even the right city! I bought this to the attention of Ocwens' attorney was told "Typo Error" but it also applies to your property.
This is America,how can this be happening? The bad guys and the rich do great,they can charge all kinds of fees to the 1% ,who are trying to save their homes,Ocwens collections department is in India. Ocwen was one of those "predatory lenders " and now owns "Litton " check out the Ripoff reports on Litton.
Ocwen along with Freddie Mac is working with our government. How did this happen?? At this point in time Ed Magedson and the staff at Ripoff are all we have!!

I bought this to the attention of Ocwens' attorney was told "Typo Error" but it also applies to your property.
This is America,how can this be happening? The bad guys and the rich do great,they can charge all kinds of fees to the 1% ,who are trying to save their homes,Ocwens collections department is in India. Ocwen was one of those "predatory lenders " and now owns "Litton " check out the Ripoff reports on Litton.
Ocwen along with Freddie Mac is working with our government. How did this happen?? At this point in time Ed Magedson and the staff at Ripoff are all we have!!
Please can anyone help us? Each situation is different but it all adds up to : We just need a loan,stimulus or bail out to save our homes!!!
Please United States Government,read these reports,Ocwen is continuing their tactics: Why pick a predatory lender to work for you? Attention United States Government: Help us save our homes,just read all the Ripoff Reports.
Don't let us down:" Please we may be the poor 99% but we are the ones who help the 1% and they are not showing much gratitude.
This is my plea for all of us: Our homes and lives are in jeopardy: Do not allow Ocwen to take our homes,we may not be rich and powerful but we worked hard for our homes. Can someone out there please look into this and give us a second chance????

As I read all the sitautions posted from Sherri,Rosalind,Dick, myself we do have a much to be thankful for: The furst Amendment along with Ed Magedson and his staff have made it possible to expose predators,slugs and low lifes for free!! My Prayer and hopes for 2012 for all of us who wanted the American Dream to be whole again.
The CEO'S of Ocwen,Golman Sachs, Litton loan, are enjoying a luxorious life with millions of dollars and offices throughout the world many of us don't know where we will be tomorrow.
It seems there is no consideration for the unfortunate 99%" aka most of us "
Banks get a bail out,Ocwen out sources their work to India and get srewarded by the "Government"
What chance do we stand?? There are postings on Facebook,on Ripoff Report,yet Ocwen gets picked to help out in a mess that Ocwen,FSB helped to create.
As the saying goes "It is what it is" : For now all of us should enjoy what we do have: Consumer Advocates such as Ed Magedson,the internet,Ripoff Report. These are things we,the 99% must take full advantage of.
Attention United States Government ,these banks were bailed out,they were all involved in these predatory loans,think about what happened to all of us. Foreclosure Scams,stolen equity,misappplied payments,lost paper work.

120 Foreclosure Victims were scammed by DeMarco,Rei: the best results were through Ripoff Report, these reports get posted within hours and attorneys and Goverenment agencies do view that is why the FBI contacted me because of Ripoff Report.
Ocwen has many locations,Atlanta Georgia,Virginia,Florida than of course "India " I don't know if Real Estate law differs but I know in civil and criminal law everything goes by venue and jurisdiction.
Ocwen probablly has atttorneys in each state. This is a good legal question I am in New Jersey,Ocwen has made their mark all over the United States.
I know I love my house,Ocwen does not care what happened they don't even distinquish between property locations. I pray we will get help. Christmas means nothing to ocwen,They just purchased Litton Loan and are getting ready for the kill on which property they will add to their portfolio next!!!

I am in for the class action. Seems to me we need a central point where communication can flow freely. I dont know if this is the forum since Rip Off Report does not publish emails etc. how can we get around this rather than just talking about it lets see some action. we need to communicate with each other and share info, not just war stories. I am in Florida so would a class action initiated say in Calif. be applicable for Fla residents?????? We need Rip Off cooperation on this as a central hub or coordinator.

This is really sad I am reading what has been done to all of us aka the 99% and it just gets worse and worse!!! Now Ocwen owns Litton and Litton is worse than ocwen, there are just as many reports on Litton and thank sto Ed and Rip-off Report thaey can all be view on Ripoff Report.
I know some class action lawsuits against Ocwen have been won,though some consumers are still waiting for payment. Ocwen does not want to help me,their attorneys use fancy linen envelopes and their attorneys paralegals can't even put the right property on their documents.
When I bought the error to Ocwens attention : I was advised just a "Typo Error" I reside in Union City the property on court document was Pennsauken New Jersey,Ocwens attorneys advised same applies for my property "not offering any resolution"!!!
So all these fat cats are making money hands over fist and they just want more and more,I find it so sad that our Governments is allowing this. Litton was previously owned by Goldman and Sachs and we all know about them. They just want to get richer and richer and take more and more.
Are there any lawyers out there who want to take on Ocwen??? Please help us ,read all the horrible things they have done. What gets me so mad is so much money is stolen and no one cares.Wait a minute someone does care "Ed Magedson and Rip Off Report."

They screwed up my payments saying I owed a month, than they screwed up my escrow saying that I owed more and now we are back to them screwing up my payment again saying I am a month behind. What would we do without consumer advocate Ed Magedson and Ripoff Report? Without Ripoff Report and the power of the First Amendment, the situation with Ocwen and all the other predators would be much worse.
As I read all the reports on Ocwen it is sickening and hard to grasp that this could and is going on in the United States of America. My situation is due to a Foreclosure scam involving an investor/straw buyer. These straw buyers did not have to spend a dime just "pretend" they were purchasing the homes,the straw buyers would than receive cash for these transactions and some even took out loans on our homes and also got a share in the equity.
The foreclosoure individuals were suppose to have a reserve account set up and the rent double our mortgage was being set aside for when we purchased back the homes in 1 year,instead closing documents were forged,not notarized stating full cash value of home was given to individual in foreclsoure.
The titlle company involved has changed their name,does not matter anyway since they are rich and powerful owned by powerful attorneys and are involved with the government. In my case after the straw buyer got his pay off and after I paid rent of 2900 and after 150,000 was stolen in equity ,the straw buyer filed Bankruptcy on all the properties he" pretended "to buy.
The FBI thanks to Ripoff Report and the United States Atorney has arrested the slug aka as Anthony Demarco of DeMarco,REI and OPM LLc.
The United States Justice Department set up a mediatiom program to help save our homes but Clay,the straw buyer filed Bankruptcy on the properties he "pretended to buy" so Ocwen has notified me they cannot offer a resolution and in the event I wish to proceed to mediation plese sign the enclosed form.
This is not justice: Millions of dollars were stolen, signatures were forged ,we have documents stating we recived cash for our homes. We should get back some of that cash so we can get back our homes.
These investors even "pretended" they were executives for big corporations and set up websites ,when I called to speak with Clay,he never worked there!!
We are not rich ,but we do not deserve to lose these homes. Why do we have to losr and the straw buyers just file Bankruptcy and too bad for us.

I am a single mom trying to keep my home, taking care of my elderly mother after my father passed away, very depress about my situation, feel hopeless. I contacted Ocwen way before I was late on my mortgage payments, I tried to get help from them never received it, contacted ISAC non profit organization that helps homeowners keeping their houses they could not contact any one after trying for many months they gave up on me. I tried a modification myself twice but nothing happened, It is so sad that they still get fund to help their clients, no one is capable of getting them to do their job, I tried to get a loan mofification for about two years now, keep sending documents over and over, they never received, I have signature confirmation, I have fedex confirmation, fax confirmation, certified letter confirmation of all documents sent to them, but they never received them. Is there any-one out there that cares? is there any government agency that will report this bank, and why they do not get in trouble? how can I get to keep my house can't deal with this stressfull situation I think I will die soon. I like to file a class action suit against ocwen. Boston, massachuetts

I know there are consumer TV reporters that you can take your story and have them research and get answers. Time everyone go to your local TV stations and talk to whoever does consumer complaints against businesses. These reporters get information from the consumer, who has been wronged by the compaany and go after them, investigating what the problem is and they do get answers. This also helps to visually document the problem for future court litigation!!

I live in Northern Michigan and Ocwen is in the process of tryng to take my hme ! They have hired a big fancy law firm in Detroit to try to take my home .
Ocwen took over our mortgage about 2 years ago , and there has been problems every since . W e
We have had hard times in the past , but were always able to " catch up " . Our credit wasn't perfect , but it was respectable . NOT ANY MORE ! Ocwen has held our payments , either by phone or by mail , sometimes over 3 weeks before they cashed them in creating more late charges . We did not have an escrow with them , but in November of 2010 , without our knowledge , started paying our property taxes and jacked our payment up $250 . I was layed off in Nov. and told them I could not afford the extra amount on the payment so they offered me a remodification and then told me I didn't make enough money to qualify . Then the foriegn representative simply told me to get a higher paying job and hung up . Now , Feb , 2011 , they sent us a letter saying we had to pay nearly $3000 by the 20th of Feb. or they were going to forclose , we got the money together and sent it in on the 12th , and on the 18th we recieved a letter from an attorney in Detroit that they were forclosing on our house . Ocwen has not cashed our check and will not even aknowledge that they have it .
We have lived here for about 25 years , our children were born and raised in this house , my grandfather and his siblings were actually born IN this house ! We don't want to loose it , but nobody will refinance us because of Ocwen . Our loan has not even gone down , it has actually grown !
There has got to be someone out there who wears a cape and fights for justice and the american people who can take these S.O.B's on . I could go on and on , as I have experianced ALL of the coplaints mentioned , and have recieved the letter from an Oregon attorney to except $250 for Ocwens wrong doing and release them of anything else . BITE ME OCWEN !!

My story is not quite the same as yours but my home loan was also transferred to OCWEN in sept. of 2010 from HOMEQ servicing. My complaint with this company primaraly is there customer service procedures They only have 1 contact number for every department and each one leads you to one call center agency which seems to be either in India or ran by only individuals from that country. I am not racist but I cannot understand 80% of what the other end of the line is saying to me which is very frustrating when you feel you are trying to discuss something very important to you & your family. My ordeal is this, for 3 weeks now I have been trying to find my 1098 for the period of 2010 that HOMEQ was handling my loan I was informed thru the number I had for HOMEQ per automated voicing, that OCWEN would be handling this. I have contacted OCWEN multiple times within a 3 week period explaining to them that I already had the 1098 for the period they have serviced my loan but need my HOMEQ 1098. Four seperate times they assured me they understood my request they even asked me for my HOMEQ account # from that time period which i obliged. Four times they have sent me the same 1098 from the OCWEN servicing period, I even requested to talk to the call center supervisor on my last call which was granted after much hassle. I explained to her my situation & my dissapointment with her agents, in turn needless to say she assured me that the 1098 for the HOMEQ period would be emailed to me in 2 buiss. days. I asked if I could talk to the tax dept or have the number for that dept. Her reply ( hold one minute please while I get the number ) Wrong all I got was sorry sir we do not have a contact number only a fax number would you like that? My reply no! I would like a number where I can talk to another human being who is not apart of your outfit because apparently no one in your dept comprehends what I am trying to request. I have recieved a letter from the district court of illinois, there is a class action against ocwen at this time.. they will notify anyone that is affected and qualifies by mail.
ocwen isnt even taking this to court, they are agreeing to the settlement, i feel they know that there will be even worse consequences if they take it to trial, they have agreed to "forgive" any outstanding balances, and late fees and other fees that have accumulated because of their actions, and also they will remove the negative information on your credit report, also you may be compensated up to $1000.. i am happy to even being getting this, i thought that ocwen had got away with taking my house.
however, im not sure that what they are giving us even comes close to what they have taken!
they foreclosed on my house in 2007, i had a good job in a level 1 trauma center, and a happy life, because of them stealing my house, i had to move back home where my family is, 100 miles away from my job, i had to get a new job back here, i cant even get a credit card for walmart because they ruined my credit report.. i lost my house, my job, and i was so terribly mortified that they took my house, it caused serious mental anguish, and they think giving me $1000 will make every thing better? im grateful that its something, but i think ocwen is getting off easy and cheap, they arent even accepting responsibilty, they deny that they did anything wrong, and if you accept the terms of the lawsuit, you are no longer able to collect anything from them, ever... someone needs to go to jail for they did to all of us! and no one will because they are crooked crooks!

My home was sold to Ocwen by HUD in 1996. They sent me forclosure notices before I even knew it had been sold. They then charged me a fee of $400.00 for buying my loan, late fees, a fee for taking photo's of my home, fees for drive by inspections, and forced insurance when I had insurance with another company. They told me that I would have to make a ballon payment to enter into a forberence agreement for all these fees and raised my payment $200 per month. Every year they made me re-enter into a forberance agreement with a balloon payment, so they got any tax refund I ever got every year and all of my retirement account just to keep my home. After 8 years of this fight I got laid-off from my job and they refused to let me make the original amount of my payment. They refused 3 of my payments and told me if I didn't pay $6500.00 they were taking my home. I fought with them all of the 8 years that they bought my mortgage and had no choice but to let them steal my home. This company has been in the business of stealing homes for a long time and have been getting by with it.Then, today I receive a letter from them asking me to accept a $350.00 settlement and forfeit my rights to participate in a nation wide class action law suit. Althought I cannot figure out exactally where to sign for this lawsuit.
I lived in my home for 12 years all together and they want to pay me $350.00 for stealing it? Where do I sign up for this class action law suit?

I also have been at the mercy of Ocwen, formally known as Aegis. I have been lied to, had paperwork lost, my escrow is always a mess, modification took Nine months, had bogus fees charged and been harassed by non-human phone calls. I can't begin to tell you every thing I have been put through because there just isn't enough space. My credit is in shambles because of their mistakes and screw ups. I have personaly experienced almost every one of these complaints. I have even spoken to EVERY department they have, and have a couple of phone numbers that supposedly don't exist.I am currently being charged for a property assessment that they can't provide any proof of having had done. I no longer accept registered letters (at the rate of two or three a week) that are the same ones they mail me.They ,of course, are charging my account 12.95 for each one whether accepted or not. i would love to see this company pay for what they are doing to us all. Count me in!

If you see MERS, or have an MIN # this indicates that you have a MERS relationship with your Mortgage and Title. MERS, is a way the crooked wallstreet mob is getting homes by forclosing when they do not have the notes we signed at the closing.

POSTED: Monday, September 20, 2010I have been dealing with Ocwen since 2006. All the facts explained in the above reports are similar to what I have been going through.
I decided to use NACA as an advocate in my behalf, but as hard workers as they are, they are not aware of the complexity of Ocwens deceptions. I've contacted my congressman, David Dreier. It was going good until Ocwen made misleading interpetations about my payment history. Without asking for my side of the story the congressman politely discontinued working on my behalf.
Ocwen proceeded to make the same deals as before, you know; pay now and I'll go into a trial period, only to be told a year later that it was denied and they keep all the money. I know what they did was illegal (Breach of contract) but I'm still hopeful.
I am currently in the process of writing to Senator Feinstien. At the same time I will be attending a NACA event in Los Angeles to hopefully resolve this. My next letters will be sent to the president, as well as certain committee members in congress. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease".
Even if you lose your home please do write to your representative. This website is awsome but writing to your rep is far more powerful. Even if they don't read it, it's still on record.

We need a class action against these crooks! I had my mortgage with Taylor Bean & Whitker, I was in the process of a "hardship" modification because my husband died unexpectedly. TB&W gave me the run around for 4 months, in that time, they received TARP money for my loan and was not supposed to be "allowed" to foreclose. Soo to get around that rule, they sold my mortgage to Ocwen. I informed Ocwen that I was having a hardship modification done, they assured me, over and over, how much they work with home owners to help!
Well, they would NOT find my documents for modification, so they make me start all over again. Over and over I sent in paperwork, forms, documents.. always receiving a letter in a few weeks that I was still missing something! Forget about getting anyone on the phone with at least ONE braincell, or who understands english and at one point, there recorded message said " You can not talk to anyone about your modification, you will be contacted on your status and there is noone to leave a message to". wtf???
This goes on for months and months, they start "inspecting" my property and went so far as to have it appraised multiple times! I receive a default document in the mail ( i was not upside down and have equity above what I financed, responsible homeowner. I have owned property for over 20 years and my credit score before all this happened was 850!) they send back all my "good faith" payments (which they told me would prevent any forward movement on foreclosure) and preceed into forclosure process.
I have been harassed for not having insurance (2months to finally get them to remove an addition 4k charge for insurance(3times what the policy actually was) and get my policy on record, and now..surprise, again Im getting the insurance runaround!!
All of the programs I was able to be approved for, they stalled and stalled so that I am over the time limit. My state started a law with manditory mediation on foreclosures. Guess what? They will NOT modify anything, they refuse any offers and are going forward with my foreclosure! The lawyers just sit there, on the phone supposedly with the bank rep, and say, "No, they can offer you nothing".
So they get paid 2 times for my mortgage AND take my house! I wish I had a triple return.
It will be years and years before any of these people get investagated and I'm sure I wont be getting any compensation for being ripped off and made homeless over their GREED!

POSTED: Tuesday, August 24, 2010I to am in the same situation with these bunch of jerks. Modifications t get you back on track, when you wasnt behind in the first place. I have made my payments at Wal-Mart for years, using the Money Gram. I felt it was secure and I would receive a receipt showing the money was transferred. Ocwen would not retreive the funds on their end for 1-3 months and then try to foreclose on me. Then I would have to retreive the funds myself, send it off again, and pay for it again as well. Then they would say you would have to do a modification of your loan to get the foreclosure status removed. After doing this 3 times, they are still saying I am behind.
The last modification, they said you do no have to pay for the first 2 months. I never received a phone call or letter of any kind. I made my payment on the 3rd month and the now the phone rings 5-6 times per day, as well as receiving certified mail every day from them. AAAAANNNNNDDDD, now they say I am $5,000 beind in payments. They send people by my house taking pictures and put my house as being foreclosed on in the newspaper when I havent received any notice of foreclosing. People stop by my house and ask me how much I owe on my mortgage and other questions, trying to et me to sell to them.
I have tried to refinance through banks or other mortgage companies and because of Ocwen, no one will even touch me.
I am over them ruining my life. My loan amount stays the same every month, cause they add so much extra billings. They even told me I have to carry insurance through them or they will foreclose on my home. My payments were $600 when I first started with them. Now through all of the so called "to help" modifications, my payment is a nice $1045.00 per month.
Screw these assholes, I am ready to stand up against these rip off artists, and live life like a person is supposed to that works their ass off every day.

I do not get it,these big banks are unscrupulous and even though there are so many law suits filed agaainst them they get to get all the Tbw loans??
My situation is so complicated involving a corrupt real estate investor a Bait & Switch and the company needless to say has filed Bankruptcy,Ocwen wants me off the premisies because the investor has filed Bankruptcy.
I am all the way In New Jersey these Banks and Mortgae companies certainly share the wealth?! I do not sleep at night,YOU CANNOT TRUST ANYONE.
This is the one thing I have learned ,attorneys sell you down the river,so yes we need to pursue this I write everyday on Rip off Report.I do not know where I would be without Ed Magedson.

I made payments to Ocwen in Nov, Dec of 2007, and Jan, Feb, and March of 2008. Ocwen was notified in advance that these payments would be made through the VA. VA Vouchers were sent and were not put toward my mortgage payment and Ocwen put me into forclosure. I went through court and the case was dismissed and they found prejudice against the company. The funny thing is, Ocwen accepts my mortgage payments....but HBNA is the one that filed the forclosure. Anyways, I was told by my lawyer to contact Ocwen to renegotiate my contract and get my payments going again. I did that. I was told that I would get the new contract and was told that the payment would be due on a certain day. This was back in Feb or March of 2009. The problem is....I called them on the day that they told me the payment would be due and I was told that the contract was sent "today", via email. Not only was this so-called contract sent via email, on the day it was due, but it was so outrageous I couldn't believe that I was actually reading it. I did not aree to it, none the less, but Ocwen is trying to collect legal fees and the interest that accrued during litigation. WOW!! Anyways...I'm not supposed to leave my contact info here, but I hope that you will contact me. I have saved all the paperwork, and have a lot more to tell you. To give you a clue... The attorney's for HBNA tried to contact Ocwen to get this situation straightened out...and they couldn't even get in touch with them to do so. I just think no matter what I do, or whatever my attorney has tried, or for that matter, their attorney has tried....I'm not going to get anywhere with this unless I take them to court. I don't sleep well at night wondering where me and my children will go if the system doesn't work for the people that are right. We need eachother on this one...I see that our dates are fairly similar, I wonder why that is? You know what I mean. Contact Me...Lets get this ball rolling!

POSTED: Monday, October 05, 2009Count me in. I followed the terms of my streamline modification and was hit with a bill today that they want over 3k (over 2k in fees and the new mortgage payment of 788.22) by Dec 1st.
I told them no where in the modification did it mention having to pay these fees and asked why they were not added to the principal and was basically told that I could pay them off little by little (sure and be hit with an almost 40 late fee each month) and them consider me in default.
I followed the terms of the modification and they added additional fees that I am unable to pay so now I have no choice but to let them foreclose.

I actually filed suit against CHASE Home Finance, US Bank ect. and the judge just dismissed my case (ten counts-including fraudulent misrepresentation, wrongful foreclosure...) saying I had no causes of action???? While acknowledging that MERS is not a beneficiary????? Go figure.
I will probably have to pursue through the Court of Appeals.
Ocwen was my second who got wiped out in the foreclosure of my home by Chase and US Bank (they sold my home to themselves for half of what I supposedly owed them).
The whole thing is such a scam.
If I know how I would attach my complaint etc. so you could see it.
My lawyer was a previous banker who knows exactly what these guys are doing and that it is FRAUD through and through.

I have had SEVERAL dealings with Ocwen that have left me wondering what my legal rights are...one was a loan modification offer that included a balloon note with no information about the amount of the balloon loan. Then when I called they still did not give me the loan amount but told me when the loan was finished being paid I would owe another $190,000... Which is more than the initial loan. Even the worker on the phone got a good laugh about how ridiculous the modification was.
When I first started having problems... I filled out the financial hardship paperwork. Then they told me that I did not make enough money so they did not have to work with me...So I struggled for another year to try to make payments. All while they had documentation that I could not afford the payments. They have now started foreclosure and are returning any payments I attempt to make at this point in time.
Please advise me on where to go and who to contact.

I am feeling your pains with Ocwen, I too have dealt with horrible company. I went into an mortgage modification program with Ocwen only to be promised to pay $3464 which then without notice went up to 3469.69 which was no big deal. But, I had the modification started in 12/08 and then had to pay an good faith payment to get the modification which dropped my rate from 7.5 to 6.5 % and late charges of roughly 2100 to back of loan. This was great I finally thought great I could get my life back on track since my husband is disabled and no longer able to work and my older child has been in/out of mental hospitals for mental illness for past two years. I have been losing a lot of unpaid leaves from work, I was working two jobs since this all. Well, Long story short, I come to find out just after two months of b
eing on the modification with Ocwen that my April payment will be going to $3715.
I totally can't afford this, I too have an 1200 truck payment which I need for my spouse's needs. So I haven't made an pymt since March now. I have been working with an Modification company from Arizona, I paid then 1995 which is promised back to me if the modification is unable to be processed, This company has been arguing with Ocwen since 5/09, They even have the company's Supervisor dealing directly with Ocwen now, But, All of sudden nowthe truck payment has Ocwen refusing to deal. They don't think I will continue with the mortgage and will default 6months down the road. But, It didn't seem to bother than in 12/08. I have had the loan prior to than. But, If Ocwen would of checked there prior records I had no problems with paying the truck of 1200 and the mortgage payment when the mortgage payment was $3464 as they initially promised it would be. I don't care if the escrow they needed was too low they should of realized this before they gave me written agreement of my modification payment of 3464 which they threatened me if it was Nsf check or paid late would make the modification void. Shouldn't they be obligated to there customer to keep my payment the same and not change it after just two months? I am getting real nervous with the foreclosures in my area. My now mortgage modification company (FMC )tells me I can't be forclosed on but reading the posts on Ripoffs has me feeling so uneasy now. So ,Yes, Go for the Class action suit include me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY FOR OVER A YEAR NOW FOR THEM TO MODIFY OUR LOAN. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO MODIFY IT. WE KEEP GETTING THEM TO DELAY THE FORECLOSURE SALE. WE HIRED SOMEONE IN MARCH TO DEAL WITH THEM. I THOUGHT IF A THIRD PARTY WAS PLAYING MIDDLE MAN IT WOULD MAKE THEM ACKNOWLEDGE THE LAW INSTEAD OF PRETENDING IT DOES NOT EXIST. THIS WEEK I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A CIVIL COMPLAINT FOR A QUIET TITLE AND INJUNCTION. I WANT TO DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I KNOW ON THE THE 11TH HOUR PRIOR TO THE SALE THEY WILL JUST SALE WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR ANSWER US ON MODIFY REQUEST. I JUST WILL NOT LET THEM TAKE OUR FAMILY HOME AWAY. MY HUSBAND GOT A SETTLEMENT FIRST PART OF THE YEAR AND WE WERE WILLING TO MEET THEM ON THE DEFAULTED AMOUNT AND REQUESTED FOR THE REMAINING TO BE TACKED ON THE BACK OF OUR LOAN AND GIVE THEM 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE IN PAYMENTS SO IT WOULD BE PREPAID AND THEN WE CAN GET BACK ON TRACK. THEY TOLD US NO THEY WERE JUST GOING TO FORECLOSE. WHAT MORE DO THEY WANT I THOUGHT IT WAS NOT A BAD DEAL SINCE NO ONE WAS LOSING MONEY BUT US HAVING TO PAY MORE AND LONGER. WHAT KILLS ME IS THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO ALLOW OUR HOME TO CONVERT BACK TO THE BENEFICIARY FOR $90K LESS THEY WHAT OUR LOAN AMOUNT IS. AS I HAVE BEEN WORDING MY COMPLAINT, I BEEN COLLECTING ALL THE PROOF I HAVE LETTER AFTER LETTER ASKING THEM TO WORK WITH US AND TO OFFER US SOMETHING THEN NOTHING AND THEY WERE NEVER WILLING TO. ANYWAYS I HAVE DISCOVERED A BREAK IN OUR TITLE. ACCORDING TO CALIF LAW WHICH MERS RULES DO NOT MATTER CALIF LAWS GOVERNS MERS THERE WAS NOT ASSIGNMENT RECORDED FROM THE 2 COMPANY TO WHOEVER WAS THE 3RD HOLDER BUT SOMEHOW THE ORIGINAL LENDER WAS CONVERTED BACK.??? NO THEY TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO SIGN IT TO OCWEN AND US BANK BECAUSE THE 2ND HOLDER WMC MOTG. STOP DEALING IN THE HOUSING MARKET AND ASSIGNED IT ONLY TO MERS. OUR LOAN WAS SOLD THE DAY IT FUNDED IN DEC 2005. WE SIGNED A DISCLOSURE SAYING THAT WE UNDERSTOOD IT WAS SOLD UPON FUNDING. THEY NAMED MERS AS THE BENEFICIARY MERS CAN NOT BE A BENEFICIARY! THEN I AM FINDING SUBSITUTION OF TRUSTEE NOTICE SIGNED BY THE TRUSTEE THAT IS JUST BEING APPOINTED. I AM FINDING DOCS THAT THE SIGNATURES ARE SIMILAR VERY SIMILAR IN FACT TOO SIMILAR. I HAVE BEEN HEARING THAT A BREAK IN THE TITLE IS CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH TO WIN A QUIET TITLE THERE HAS TO BE PROOF OF SOMEKIND OF FRAUD WELL I DISCOVERED THAT ONE OF THE REQUIRED NOTICES FOR THE FORECLOSURE PROCESS. I THINK I HAVE AN EXCELLENT CASE. I BEEN HELPING MY FRIEND WITH HER QUIET TITLE AND OUT OF A HANDFUL WHO STARTED THEIRS AT THE SAME TIME THEY HAVE ALL LOST THEIR HOME AND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE STANDING STILL AND TODAY WE WELL SHE HAS A HEARING. SO I AM WILLING TO SUE AND SUE THEIR PANTS OFF OF THEM IF ANYTHING MAKE MORE PEOPLE BECOME MORE AWARE AND MAYBE IT WILL TRIGGER A WAKE UP CALL FOR THE GRAND JURY TO MAYBE FRAUD INVESTG. DOGS ON THEM. I HAVE A FEELING SOMETHING WILL COME OUT ABOUT THESE SERV. LOANS COMPANIES AND THEY WILL GO DOWN BECAUSE I BET SOMEWHERE IN EVERYONES PAPERWORK RECORDED IN THE COUNTY HAS A MISTAKE SOMEWHERE THEY ARE ALL WORKING TOGETER TO KEEP THIS GAME GOING AND COVERERED UP. THEY ALL FALL SOONER OR LATER AND I AM AFRAID WHEN THEY FALL IT WILL BE TOO LATE FOR HOMEOWNERS TO RECLAIM THEIR HOME. I HOPE THEY HAVE FUN IN THE FEDERAL PEN AND SOON TO END THIS NIGHTMARE EVERYONE IS GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. THAT IS FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!

What Ocwen has done to us and others is just wrong. Please feel free to read our report. We had many more issues with Ocwen not listed. We have taped phone calls and yes we did tell them they were being filmed as well as recorded. We have them admitting there were problems with our account - but - they were never fixed. I could spend hours telling you of the last three years.
So Yes - I would get in on a class action suit as well. I live in North Florida

I agree with you psychic. If you look at the dates and how long this has been going on with people I do not see any law suit happening. It is a great place to vent and read but it is really not getting anybody any where.

You can best believe that I'm all about this class action lawsuit but one thing that really concerns me is the fact all of us are scattered throughout the United States. Is there such an attorney that can take on this lawsuit and represent all the states involved? I am definitely interested in joining the fight with everyone and hope there's an attorney that can help. I did post some of the attorneys that were currently working cases against Ocwen on my previous post. Let me know what I need to do to join the fight.

I have had this company for over two years now. From day one, nothing but trouble. When things got bad, they offered me a "modification". Please........ do you think we are that stupid. I filed a Chap. 13 BK and present day, they still get the paperwork wrong. I know there is already a court case being prepared in NY, but that is not a class action.
To the homeowners reporting here and others reading these reports. We need to file complaints with the federal government. We also need to get together and file a class action against Ocwen LLC. By the way, they also have employees who monitor this website.
For those who are tired of speaking with third-world countries, you have the legal right to request in writing (certified) to have your file marked "USAO". this means they can only direct you to a in-country (USA) customer rep.

I have had this company for over two years now. From day one, nothing but trouble. When things got bad, they offered me a "modification". Please........ do you think we are that stupid. I filed a Chap. 13 BK and present day, they still get the paperwork wrong. I know there is already a court case being prepared in NY, but that is not a class action.

I have debt with acwen since 2007 and have had nothing but head aches. they had my escrow messed up and when I called on them they cold not see a problem mean while I cantacted my attorney and he said that it was not right but did not offer to help. So naturally my payments continues to increase .I had stared a loan modification back in july 2008 I had a 9.9 intrest rate my house was inflated and I was going to lose it. Ok july august september oct, nov, dec, jan finally it was modified after being on the phone for hours waiting and waiting and being told they had not recieved my faxes even though on my end my copy came back complet all pages I was lied to they did another modification because they kept saying they had not recieved my agreement which I had faxed over 20 times I emailed the agreement. So with the new modification my house principle has gone up and i got a intrest rate of 8.24 when I asked why it went up they said that is what their caculator says take it or leave it I personally will be just maybe beable to make that paymt for a while I do not have a job in the summer I work as a teacher Assistant I so find part time work usually but with the economy it will be hard this year my husband will be just able to pay the mortgage what ablout the other bills I don't know . so please if there is a class action suit I want to be included this company need to be shut down they are not willing to help their customers and they are nothing but rip offs . I also paid to have a loan modifiaction with a company manhattan mitigation they did not help me but they did say this ocwen is bad business so here I am with a inflated home and a high interst rate and not so good credit because of these people . I can not do anything I can refinance I do not know what to do . I have all my papers from the time I started to modify my loan right up to now.

I have filed reports about Ocwen myself. We had a 2nd mortgage with Ocwen. The first mortgage was a private mortgage. When we applied for the Ocwen mortgage, we told them we had the first mortgage. They ignored the fact that we had the first mortgage and gave us the mortgage. We ended up in a forebearance agreement with Ocwen. We were in default on the first mortgage too. They both foreclosed. The first mortgagor beat Ocwen to the punch and foreclosed first. Ocwen backed out of the forelcosure sale on the first Tues, Feb. 2007. The first mortgagor went ahead with the sale. We lost the house at that sale. Ocwen still claims they are in first place and that the loan is in foreclosure, even though the house is Gone and has new occupants! There was no money left over from the sale of the house to pay Ocwen. The first mortgage was barely
paid off leaving a small shortage. Ocwen sends us mortgage statements every month.
They add force-placed insurance to the loan, and add inspection fees to the loan for a house that is no longer collateral for the loan. They are reporting us on our credit reports as "forclosure initiated", which is wrong because they did not and cannot foreclose on this house. When I initiate a dispute with the credit bureau, they just ask Ocwen who says it's correct. Aggghhhhh! I tried writing to the bureaus and telling them that Ocwen has their internal information wrong and so they cannot verify this. Ocwen sued us, the first mortgagor, the realty company who bought the house at the sale, the people who bought the house from them and the two mortgage companies who hold their first and second mortgages and the judge dismissed the case. When I have called Ocwen they don't know what I am talking about. I told them to call their own attorney to update their own information.

We're with you!! We've been battling with them for 6 years - they weren't our original lender - I don't think they ever are - they just buy loans from other companies...then they suck the life out of the borrowers!! Every single time I've talked to someone at that company, the first thing they ask me is "How much money can you send?" They are nothing but a bunch of crooks and liars!
I was an Escrow Officer for many, many years and I have never dealt with another as horrible as this one - and believe me, there were some bad ones out there. Ocwen takes the prize! They give you false names when you ask for one - I swear that every male I talked to there was named Steven! They threaten people and hang up on them!

We were sold to OCWEN and from the beginning they hit us with late charges that were paid to the previous owner of the loan.
From there it got worse.
The kicker to this was that for 2 full years of payments to my escrow account (Taxes and insurance) I found out after trying to add my 2 cars to my AAA insurance to get a cheaper rate I found I had NO insurance on my home due to NON Payment. This happened after OCWEN got my loan from the previous company's transfer. OMG I called them after finding this out from AAA. They told me there WAS insurance on the home provided by THEM for the STRUCTURE (ONLY) at no cost.
My reply was WHY did this happen? You cover the house but my inside coverage was $300,000.00 and Hurricane coverage since I do LIVE IN FLORIDA!! Why was this not Paid since I was making the payments? After trying to contact their Insurance DPT with phone calls, faxes and letters. I NEVER GOT A REPLY !! So I got the insurance MYSELF and had the ESCROW canceled. Isn't there a LAW for that? I make the payments and THEY don't.
Also the first year with them I got a TAX notice that it was NOT paid and had to spend HOURS contacting OCWEN to pay it since the ESCROW was for that too!!
What kind of company is this? I now am late on my morgage due to loss of my job and
too like others here I have read about, CALL me constantly. I know I'm behind and I'm doing everything I can to get it current and call them back almost daily to keep them informed of my "CHANGE IN STATUS".
This has been ongoing for the Last 2 years now and I have tried to recently get that hardship plan they listed but what they sent EXHIBIT A, B,C, D looks more like Court Documents to go after me if I DEFAULT not HELP...
Many times with the long hours on the phone with them I told them to SELL my loan to someone else due to their POOR service. But that is like telling the EARTH to STOP SPINNING :(
I have EVERY PIECE of Documentation they have sent me since we are pack rats.
Which by the way NOT one of their Bills have the SAME numbers on them month to month. How do they do their MATH?
To TOP IT OFF I tried to sell my home on a SHORT SELL and guess what?
Even though I have had this loan with them for several years the pay OFF was EXACTLY the ORIGINAL $180,000.00 AMOUNT.. HOW does THAT HAPPEN??
I also have TAPED conversations with them TOO !! To back up what I have said here.
I NEED to go into the LOAN Business So I CAN CHARGE WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT and NEVER MAKE IT LESS THAN WHAT the original amount was for TOO !!!

Ocwen would not work with us on our out of sight mortgage rates and foreclosed. they would not return calls, emails or letters mailed. At some point during the last 1-1/2 year I received a call from a foreign speaking person and I asked what country she was from and she said India. That was the only word I understood. I said have someone who can speak English call me back and they never did. Lost my home. So a class action law suit --count me in!!!!

My loan was sold to Ocwen and this being the second home I have purchased. I was amazed by there rudeness and just plain unprofessionalism.. they have been late on making the taxes to my city time and time again!.. I have to call over and over again just to get an operator in a foreign country who barely speaks english that wants too much personal information, when I ask where I can go to an office here in the state of New jersey, they say there is not one..
ughhhh!!! when I sell this house, I will ensure in writing that ocwen is never the owner of my loan, or I will purposely let it go into foreclosure!!! they are a disgusting company bent on nothing but profits on the backs of hardworking people.. shame on you!

Mr. Emailer who started this blog,
I started a refi with Ocwen. I gave them $3000 cashiers check. I forgot to send original documents. They called me and said they would send the money back and start foreclosure if I did not sign ans send the paper work. That was a Tuesday. On Friday I got laid off. Needless to say, I did not sign and send paper work. I then was wishing they would send the $3000 back! They kept it! They said you owe us! (which is true) However, it stated on the loan documents, if you do not sign and send original forms we will return money and start foreclosure. Can they pick and choose? Also the man or should I say kid named Scott Williams (or so he said) made fun of my childs learning disability. I was in tears and he kept on saying I was a bad mother! He said he would not pay for his tutor and I needed to get my priorities straight. I wrote Ocwen a letter and sent it to twelve different locations, I got no response. My children are my priority! I know I should pay for my home, but if it comes between my children and my "bills" I pick my children! Thats my job! They will always have food and a roof! But it doesnt have to be a $400,000 roof! And my childrens well being (learning diability) is more important than good credit. That may sound bad to some, but to me it is the only way! Let me know!

How can we effectively get a resolution if we cant talk to one another or communicate by other means. I dont know what the deal is with ripoff report. I think they just want to be the middle man in whatever takes place, which is fine with me.
Sometimes I wonder if Ocwen is paying them off as well. I hope that I am wrong, but I see no other reason why consenting adults are not being allowed to contact one another. I have suggested to Ripoff that they give everyone interested some sort of link where you need to have a specific password to be allowed to access like some employers do. Is that too much to ask? They have gotten us all riled up and they want to just leave us hanging? If you have an attorney maybe they will allow you to post the attorneys information. They did for the Citibank customers. Let me know the status.

Carl, I just found this ripoff report site today as I was researching what ever happened to First Alliance Mortgage ( the company that Cal Vet allowed us to encumber our first mortgage with a second in place with in 1992 ) at some point in time somehow Ocwen became the company we were paying our second mortgage to ( the payment history I received from them indicates we have been paying them since 07/01/2000 ) our loan "matured" in Sept. 2007. Not knowing exactly what that meant because ocwen also sent paperwork to send for a payoff quote I began my quest for information on what to do since the payoff quote stated that they wanted 5000 plus dollars and we were not in a position at that time to pay it off if we even owed that amount. I was told by one of those employees that takes calls from the cue "just go ahead and keep making your payments" I did this and they recorded it as a payment on Nov. 7,2007 and now the recorded statement message says the next payment due for Dec.1,2007 is 191.66 we have not made a payment since then. I have not been able to satisfy myself that we indeed owe any amount due to the impossibility of ever being able to reach anyone in the USA. We have now received a foreclosure notice and I am not sure what to do after reading all the ripoff reports on this site this evening. I would like to know if there is any help by reporting on this site and letting others know your personal plight. you stated that you wanted others to contact you via this site I live in Orangevale on Almond Ave. three houses north of Greenback Lane I am not trying to be vague but I read that they delete addresses and email addresses If you can come to my door bring a big note so I can see your name or just leave me a note by the door somewhere so I can contact you our house is on the east side of Almond. Would love to get involved with a class action - you have a taker

I have given reports to Ripoff. Yes I am a taker, - let's file a class action, but I reside in Northern, VA. If you can figure out how others in another state can get involved in the class action you have a taker! Might be possible because the company is in Orlando FL therefore anyone involved with the company might possibly have to file suit in Florda as they is where their business office is, not in the State in which rhe home is located/and financed - I am all for it.
Tomorrow I see an attorney and will in all probability file Chapter 13. i am frustrated and upset. I am in danger of loosing my home at this time although I have proof of payments.I called Ocwen, getting voice mail, requesting a face to face meeting with Ocwen. In each voice mail I have asked for the meeting and stated I was willing to drive the 10 hours to see them. All request have been ignored. that's what once calls good public relations and outstanding professionalism - God help us all if that is the best they can do and obviouslly that is their best, but somehow they manage to stay in business!
I raised children alone getting them through school; bought my first home at 55 - this is my 2nd. Words can not express my dismay and I am close to retirement. I had planned to use what I put into my home into my retirement - isn't that a joke?.
The bottom line is that they do not care. Yesterday I sent letters out overnight air to all my congressman; tomorrow I will do it at a State level. It may be too late for me but maybe I can help others. Everyone write your congressman US and State levvel.
The more I read, and the more I learn I am appalled and shocked at what appears to be unethical conduct, definace of the law and a complete lack of respect to the consumers as dies it appears that they are getting away with it.
Put my name on the list, get in touch with me via Ripoff. I will come to Florida to meet with the attorney. Let's give it the old heave ho and go after them.
