I bought a used 2002 international 9400 I eagle from them in 2006. From the getgo I had trouble with the truck. First a $5100 transmission and a $4800 rearend repair in just the first two months. They said tuff luck. Okay I understand I bought a used truck, but no help at all with any of it. When I purchased the truck I also had rods and main bearings put in so as to get a 200000 mile warranty with the engine.

After four months of having purchased the truck, the engine blowby was getting pretty bad. I took the truck to them and they supposedly put the truck on a dino and said it wasnt bad enough to warrant a repair. 7months later I took it back because it had gotton noticablly worse, using 2 to 3 gallons of oil every 10,000 to 12,000 miles. They said it still wasnt bad enough for warranty repair. aprox. 5 to 6 months later, a mechanic in Auburn told me I had a bad liner or piston ring, and needed it replaced to solve the problem.

Because the warranty was running out I took it back to Omaha Truck center and told them that it wasnt coming back untill I got something fixed. They called me two days later and said the liner wasnt the problem that it was the ecm was, which they replaced. That seemed to fix the problem. After amonth to a month and a half the problem returned and I called them on it. They said still it wasnt a liner or a piston. I told them it was also heating up on me and they said it was a seperate issue.

I then took my truck to Alburquerque Freightliner and was told that I had a plugged radiator and that was the problem along with a bad radiator cap. The heating problem got gone, but the blowby got worse. Now I have a truck 7,000 miles out of warranty with a broke liner, a bad piston and a head that was destroyed when the liner came apart and broke the piston, sitting in a shop in Sikeston, Mo.

The fix under warranty would have been 3 to 4 thousand dollars, now the estimate is minimum $16,672. to $19,784 to repair all because they ripped me off by not fixxing the problem under warranty. I had taken it to them on three sepperate occasions and the problem was not taken care of, Also, by removing the ecm, they removed the history of the engine except the miles they programmed in to insure that the engine warranty was set at its orrigional milage schedual.

What I suggest to anyone that is thinking about buying a truck from them is dont. There are still honest people in the truck sales industry, but there are none at OMAHA TRUCK CENTER.
