Today on my At&T phone bill i saw a charge for $20.20. It was a supposed collect call to my number from La Mesa, CA #619-463-4553 and when i called it it sounded like a fax machine. At&T told me to call the billing resource 1888-296-8079 and the girl Sasha told me to hold on and she was transfering me to OSP Communications1866-460-8037. When i asked her what type of company this is she told me its a pay phone or hotel. a guy named Adam answered and said i accepted a collect call i told him no that is a lie and he was very rude and push offish and told me he was going to put a collect call block on my number i told him AT&T already did. i told him i just want the $20.20 resolved and he was going to put in the request and it should be taken care of in the next billing cycle. i called AT&T back and they made not of it. i was just told to call the attorney general and make some kind of complaint. i believe AT&T should handle this since it is my provider, but i still had to do the calling. how can a third party just put charges on your phone bill. i will write an update to let you know if it was resoleved.
