When buying my home I asked specific questions, as I had known others that lived in mobile homes and had problems with Electric, Water, Flooring & weak walls. With-in first week of moving into the home the wall trim was falling off. I called the Oakwood service person,, she said that falls under Owner repairs, then one of the sinks in master bathroom sink's conection is backwards. The hot knob give you cold water and the cold the hot. Called her back she states thats owner repairs. THen the light in my daughters bed room shorted out. The electrician that came out said I had faulty wiriring and that the entire house needed to be looked at and that he would let the service person know. A week or so later when they had not called, I called them they state they do not show ever sending an electrician out nor any work orders for my home. ( LIERS ) *** Within the first year I lived in the house the Oakwood dealership I bought from was closed with no notice of what the heck to do or who to call with the long list of problems I was (AND AM STILL HAVING, pop up everyday). After about 3 years of living here, my AC unit was not working as well as it should, a friend that is an AC tech came to check it out,, there was not drainage hole,, it had been draining on my sons (the room behind the ac unit) floor. I had always complained at him that he had something hidden in his room because of the spoiled smell but could never find anything,, until we bought him a new bedroom set. Moved the old one out and found that the wall between his bed room wall (had been hidden by his bed) and the connecting living room wall (hidden by huge sofa) was soaking wet and was falling apart from bottom to about a foot up. I am a single mother trying to give my kids the best, most stable house I can right now. And these JERKS at OAKWOOD have sold me a piece of **** home that i believe has mold and I do not know what to do or who to turn to??????
