Oasis Home Health is charging Medicare by ten times the regular amount for services. I am a registered nurse from the Philippines. When I arrived in the US from Manila, my dream was to help older people. Oasis Home Health in Las Vegas gave me my first job. Holly Kay Montano told me to bill all of Jared Shafer's clients at a special amount, which was at least ten times the rate for other people. Holly told me not to worry about this because Mr. Shafer controlled the billing for his people. As time went on I saw that Mr. Shafer's people were treated worse then other clients, but the government was paying a much higher rate for them. I quit Oasis on Monday October 4 after one of Shafer's patients was not allowed to see his son because of instructions provided by Mr. Shafer. The man was given no activities and just sat in front of his TV. Oasis is only interested in putting high bills to Medicare. Maybe someone from the government will read this and help these poor people. .

I stand corrected; Mr. Shafer used to be a public guardian and is now a private guardian.  I grew up in Las Vegas and am just used to his former title.  He still performs the same function: protecting fragile elders.  I am sorry if people are not happy with Mr. Shafer or his associates, but again, we are not affiliated with him or his company.  Mr. Shafer has NO ownership in any of our companies.  KeepYou Company took care of one patient of Mr. Shafer's.  Oasis Home Health has never had any dealings with Mr. Shafer or this supposed employee or supposed patient(s).



I love how anonymous people on here are trying to imply that my company has done something illegal.  How about all of YOU identify yourself, paste your home address on here (mine has been), and divulge every last piece of information about yourself?  Obviously by including Oasis Home Health in all of these post, and now by including a hospice foundation, which isn't even in business, someone is just accessing public records and trying to imply something which just doesn't exist.  You already know who is on the Board of Directors, it is right there with the public records you accessed.  And you know that Jared Shafer or any of his associates are not on there.  



Again, if there are any REAL questions regarding KeepYou Company or Oasis Home Health and our standard of care, please contact the Nevada State Health Division who regulates us and is fully aware of who is on our Board of Directors.  We are owned by 2 registered nurses (one being myself) and have the highest standards of care and ethics in doing business.

Ms. Montano, in case you have not heard - Jared Shafer is no longer a "Government" appointed public guardian!  Do you have any affiliation with Jared Shafer, secret or otherwise, past, present and/or ongoing?

Could you please tell us about the HOSPICE FOUNDATION OF LAS VEGAS?  In particular, a complete listing of your Board of Directors and officers for all corporations will do.

Just curious.

I am Holly Kay Montano, the CEO of Oasis Home Health and KeepYou Company. The statements in this so-called rip-off report are unsubstantiated and ridiculous. This report was filed by a disgruntled family member of a former client for KeepYou Company. Due to HIPAA regulation I will not go into any specifics other than to say that she has never worked for Oasis Home Health or KeepYou Company, and  I would request that this person post a paycheck stub from either company to prove it. She doesn't even seem to know where our office is located since she posted our Registered Agent's service address instead of our office address in this posting.  

I have never personally met this woman, nor have I had any ludicrous conversations with her about billing covert rates to Medicare or for Mr. Shafer's clients.  Obviously this person has no inkling of how Medicare billing works  Medicare only allows you to bill their allowed rate for home health, it is built in to their payment software.  Medicare only pays at their set rates no matter if you billed 2 times or 100 times of their set rate.  

I have no secret affiliation with Jared Shafer who is a government appointed public guardian, and who protects fragile elders from abusive and exploitative people. Mr. Shafer has no ownership interest, of any kind, of either Oasis Home Health or KeepYou Company.

Obviously the person who posted this report is angry and has posted multiple cases on this website full of false allegations.  Such is the price of doing business.  We try our best to please all of our clients, family members and employees, but as anyone knows, you can't please everyone, though we do try. 

We treat all of our clients with the utmost care and professionalism and would encourage anyone who has any questions about our integrity or care to check our status with the State of Nevada Health Division who regulates us, and with the Better Business Bureau as well, where we have an "A" rating.
