In a nutshell, I moved from Arizona to New York, I was sold a insurance policy with my move over the phone to compansate for any lost items. It was a small move and the movers that the company had helped me pack a few items. When the other set of movers showed up first things out of their mouth was dont be mad...Wow just what i wanted to hear. A locked file cabinet was missing a door, inside the cabinet contained many personnal items that i wanted protected durning the move. It was a 2 door cabinet, one door was missing , inside contained photos, irs docs, finiacai info, a family knife airlum, all these items where gone. One cabinet didnt even make it to delivery, it contained multiple mma apparal that had been given to me, toiletries, and many other clothing items. Boxes had been opened because it wasnt the same tape that had been put on by myself and the other mover, inside were motorcycle helmets and an additional filing cabinet. [continued below]....

I instantly called claims and tried to get ahold of the drivers to see if they had just left it at a stop by no one was willing to help me. they just decided if it isnt there on delivry than its simply gone. After 2 months of waiting to hear anything back i was awarded $55. wow a whole 55 bucks, the pictures, the knife, and helmet are all i want, those cant be replaced the items im expressing interest in here these people are dead and i can never see there memory again. the 10,000 compensation apparently was never filled out so im sol. Now im writing this and than calling the police...
