Consumers recommended solution to Ocwen Nightmare

AUTHOR: Joseph - (United States of America)

dont torture yourself any longer attemting to get voluntary help by your self from Ocwen Loan Servicing, they have been proven to consistantly continue to purposley misdirect you until you lose your home because they and almost all 'Servicers' are nothing more than glorified collection companies for the true Note Holders of Mortgage Notes like yours which are they them selves taking Ocwen and other Servicing Companies to Court for 'Unjust enrichment' meaning purposley linning their pockets with unauthorized ficticious fee's they charge your account when you are delinquent so when the Beneficiary finally Liquidates the Note AFTER you've been evicted, they collect these illegal unathorized ficticious fee's off the top, even before the Note holder gets a dime. PREDATORY servicing Practices, PREDATORY LOAN MODIFICATION practices... go to www.SueOcwen.org and a Non Profit Law Clinic Counslor will help you recieve a completly FREE no cost Lender Fraud  and Violation Analysis Report while they help you with completly FREE legal Loan Modification assistance while they try to get you pre-qualified for one of several Permanent Principal Reduction Programs available. What makes this Non Profit Law Clinic so different than any other Non profit Organization, is this one has TEETH and bites... they will actuall help you initiate either a Lender Lawsuit Litigation case or Bankruptcy Protection while they offer your lender and more importantly your true Note Holder (discovered thru the court process) an sensible alternative to Litigation or BK Court thru restructured terms of your original note (ie: LOAN MODIFICATION). Google search this phrase "CPAC Non Profit Law Clinic wins against Ocwen Loan Servicing". My co-wrker actually lost his house in foreclosure, he used CPAC Non Profit Law Clinic to sue Ocwen and Bank one (who was the true Note Holder) and not only got his house back into his name before eviction, but he actually finally recieved the Loan Modification that he was previously denied for. Many times the true note holder is not even made aware that the homeowner wants to retain the home let alone can sustain the home with minor adjustments to the note.... hence why the Servicers them selves are being sued by the Beneficiaries....

A change of thought?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

I wonder if all the letters we have sent have helped! If I did not believe that this had no benifits I would have stopped writing long ago. Thanks to everyone who maintains writing and pounding the doors on these Servants who represent us.

We, the people are their employers and some of these Civil Servents believe other wise.I make it a strong point that these people work for us and not the other way around. So the OTS, HUD, FEMA, or even the President and his assitants all work for the American Tax payor. The President has said this in a number of his speeches. He is resposible only to the American Tax payor and the people below him need his additude.

If they fail to listen then the Chief, he needs to here about it, right. He has the power to remedy the problem and it's time for him to get letters, the more the better. His people are not listening and need to be fired or disiplined. Some may laugh but if he new what was going on I really believe he would take action. I believe he is a man of his word. Write on

There's a definite change in attitude at the OTS.

AUTHOR: Jon - (U.S.A.)

Robin,

Thanks for your advice. I strongly suggest that everyone who has had a problem with Ocwen call the OTS. Finally, they are now well aware of Ocwen's scam. They also stated that Ocwen has their full attention and they working to put an end to this nightmare. I'm not totally sure of what that means but it's certainly a step in the right direction. In the past, OTS seemed to be totally unaware of what was going on and even appeared to side with the thieves at Ocwen.

Thanks Again!

Therapy First, get rid of Ocwen by Refinancing

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

First, get rid of Ocwen by Refinancing,Even if your credit is bad.I personaly did this and the results are remarkable. Now I need a anger Management course in controling my fury.Only against Ocwen of course. So what if they just ripped me off for 20 thousand dollars. On close of my new loan they added in their own additional due amount with no facts or no deal or agreements. Nothing..., or they would refuse the new loan.

It was my health or 20 thousand, I choose my health. I am still in close pursuit but now on a different side. Someday, someone, will come along and make them pay it all back and we shall ask how did we let them get away with this for all these years? What goverment would allow such acts against the people who they serve? I hold responsible any persons who have knowledge and do nothing, accountable. I know who I have contacted and who has turned their back. These people are in high goverment jobs.HUD's top brass are all knowing. I have letters. It really is not about Money is it?

I really don't care about the 20 thousand. I would have preferred to donate it than let ocwen Bank steal it. I plan on writing off the 20,000.00 on my taxes as theft. I am sure the IRS will Red Flag it

OTS contact information... call OTS and make some noise!

AUTHOR: Robin - (U.S.A.)

Victim's groups abound and are useful for the sharing of information, but seem to accomplish little else.

I will join the first group that is willing to rally its members for a protest in Florida in the street in front of Ocwen's offices, just as I was willing to go stand in front of the courthouse in Hartford before the case got moved. In order to "put a face" on the fraud, it is going to take a show of bodies (lots and lots of bodies, just as there are lots and lots of victims)and people prepared to tell the media their stories and show their documentation on the spot. Lots of people in the street carrying signs will always attract media attention.

I am a body who can and will stand and hold a sign for the cause. It seems that getting the media involved is the only way to expose fraud these days. There seems to be more interest in hiding the dirt than ridding ourselves of it in the court system these days.

I don't know if the OTS will meet with victims, but they will listen to them via phone or letter.

After the OTS/Ocwen agreement was signed I called the OTS myself and talked to the man who is the "Ocwen specialist". OTS is more aware than I suspected.

If the OTS is truly meeting with Ocwen twice a week, OTS is getting an earful of Ocwen's troubles with servicing and how hard it is for Ocwen to do its d--m job correctly. Oh, poor Ocwen!

Maybe some input from "the other side" would be just the ticket. Victim input would assuredly be valuable, because I don't trust Ocwen to ever, ever, EVER tell the truth. I think Ocwen is not above lies and deceit and hiding what is really going on. Ocwen paints with a broad brush to always show itself in the best light. OTS needs to know the REAL truth about what is going on on the other side of the fence.

Call this gentleman at the OTS and talk with him. He is personable and knowledgeable. Maybe he can/will assist victims on a one-by-one basis. At the very least, he needs to hear from ALL of you for the true scope of the problem to be realized.

At the OTS Northeast Regional Office, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the Ocwen-related contact person is Richard Denby at 201-413-7316.

Call today, before Ocwen is allowed to complete its debanking process (in the works now)! Once that happens, if it happens, OTS will not be able to help.

Ocwen has bi-weekly meeting with the OTS

AUTHOR: Jon - (U.S.A.)

The other day I read that the OTS conducts bi-weekly meetings with Ocwen. It's to bad that they don't take the time to meet with Ocwen's victims. I wonder if they show vacation photos during those meetings or just talk about the weather. I would like to know who at the OTS attends those meetings. They must be as bright as the ones at the VA who awarded the servicing contract to Ocwen. I wonder if their guide dogs came from the same litter?

Maybe there is a way that we can force the OTS to meet with us.... Any ideas?

Robin,

Please chime in here if you have any ideas. We do need to organize a victims group or ?

Thanks!

When U sue Ocwen.... Never hire an attorney by the HOUR! 33$ ONLY!

AUTHOR: Lucy - (U.S.A.)

Ocwen is liable in civil court, too bad not criminal

That's the 'great thing' about being a corporation. You can avoid going to PRISON for stealing. Just blame the people you hire!

However, as Ocwen would probably point out, you can always sue,.. and spend seven years in court, or more, going thru appeals, etc. Most attornies that will represent you will hang in there for only three years before settling for anything they can GET!

Ocwen has TOO MANY CASES not to know what their business practices have cost the consumer.

Ocwen has too many cases for the INVESTORS not to be worried.

If I were an investor, I'd be worried.

If I were an employee, I'd be worried because you're disposable, but in this tough job market, people will do desperate things for others for profit.

If you have a mortgage with Ocwen, you already know you're in a tough situation. No attorney will take it if they have a clue how much Ocwen is willing to spend (or owe an attorney), to keep you from collecting, even if you CAN prove the fraud! I wondered why Ocwen was willing to spend so lavishly on attornies,... until I heard the rumours of nonpayment of attornies, appealing cases they've lost, avoiding court service by claiming the 'wrong person was served' - hence, the lack of accountability here has a great benefit, and the FALLING STOCK PRICES.

Could Ocwen be in trouble?

Could it be that moving lost cases to the appellate courts at ANY cost is a way of keeping losses off the books that would send investors running?

As long as HUD sells your mortgage to them, as long as the federal and state agencies refuse to handle the insurance fraud cases and "fund mismanagement" situations, the company is in a sense, protected by the lax government agencies that seem to have proven there is no way to enforce the laws on the books related to the practices that Ocwen is involved with.

The government agencies will tell you that Ocwen expresses a desire to 'work out' the situation with you. Then when you have to go to court to protect your assets, the government agencies will tell you it's in litigation so they can't help you.

So all Ocwen has to do is claim they are 'working on it' to the government agencies, while they refuse to give information, other than what they manufacure, to your attornies, to you, etc.

No government agency seems to be there to check any books. Not enough staff, I bet. I know what a government employee means in court when she's forced to say,"...to the best of my knowledge..." which is a way of saying, "How the HELL can I know that when you want me to do an investigation WITH WHAT I GOT TO WORK WITH. I have no staff to do it with, and you're one of 30 companies I investigate in a three month period with NO TRAVEL ALLOWANCE and NO RIGHTS TO PRIVATE CORPORATE INFORMATION."

Yes, we are royally screwed because though the Feds recognized Ocwen as a bank federally regulated, they seem to have no time to investigate your claims, since most of the victims, if not all, are people with poor credit, therefore no money to sue!

Ocwen preys on the poor. Simple as that.

And the poor have no rights in court, whether civil or criminal.

If you have a poor credit history, the lawyers will bring that out in civil court, telling the jury that basicly you 'deserved' to be screwed.

If you have a criminal history in criminal court, the same thing happens. People with prior criminal histories, will often plead to cases because they know their own history will make them appear guilty. Until DNA came around, many of them were EXECUTED for crimes they didn't commit, and the ones who plead out were spared the death penalty, and adjust to prison life with no hope of ever appealing though DNA would CLEAR them!

Now if criminal cases require one be CERTAIN of guilty, beyond a doubt, and civil cases require just probable cause...

then it's EASY for Ocwen, they are able to use your credit history to make it appear as IF YOU ASKED TO BE SCREWED BY OCWEN!

So the cases in the appellate court just HAPPENED to get past this prejudice against the poor somehow that Ocwen tried to generate in the circuit court system. Now Ocwen gets to drag your case for almost a decade in the appellate court!

Money appears to be no object, considering that they gain thru the court system by getting most cases dismissed that have merit because you're too poor to sue!

Yeah, try to find an attorney who will take it on a commission with THOSE problems!

Like my daddy used to say,"You BUY justice." Like he'd say, "If you got money, you can get out of ANYTHING." Well he was right most of the time. What we need is enough people to go after Ocwen that we get that small percentage of success for justice. We have to go after them, even if it means losing, but it may require you interview a dozen or more attornies who will turn you down.

NEVER< NEVER hire an attorney by the hour, only on a percentage fee basis!

Remember, your attorney may QUIT after three years! Heck, he might MOVE by then! Imagine what seven years is like?

What we need is enough people to go after Ocwen that we get that small percentage of success for justice. We have to go after them, even if it means losing, but it may require you interview a dozen or more attornies who will turn you down.

NEVER< NEVER hire an attorney by the hour, only on a percentage fee basis!

Remember, your attorney may QUIT after three years! Heck, he might MOVE by then! Imagine what seven years is like?

E Pluribus Unum... I wonder who knows what it means

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

The Bank represents everything about our Great Nation. It is how we trade. When this starts to go bad we as a nation of people we get real nervous. we don't ever want here about a Bank stealing and practice dishonestly. These banks have got to go or we as a people will reject the banking system as we know it. Banks are not to profit of ones mishaps. A bank is to help, not throw gas on the fire like they are doing. Take a look at these late fees and over the limit fees. This is money the banks themselves have issued. This is the truth and wrong way to do Banking. It is tearing the Backs off Americans who work to hard and give everything we have to anyone who needs.Who are these men that breed lust and glorify it..Give it back Ocwen. You will never be trusted. When I say Ocwen Bank I mean her workers no matter how high up the latter you are. From the bottom up. You must be accountable.

#15 Consumer Suggestion

Ocwen is not a conspiracy

AUTHOR: Ron - (U.S.A.)

Currently, I am in debt collections for credit cards, personal mortgage and investment mortgages. Things have been rough, and I can relate with my fellow debtors.

However, we must remember that "ocwen" or any company of such size does not have a truly centralized leadership - it is a complex bureacracy.

Sure, there are directors and managers that define strategic objective and goals, but this is all higher-order stuff. The "devil" is in the details.

It seems like the inefficiency and weakness of their business systems causes a majority of the problems related here. Coupled with cheap outsourcing and a poor corporate culture, you get major mistakes, little accountability and serious issues.

As for the independant contractors who work with Ocwen, they are their own business and thus part of the problem or part of the solution.

I have worked with Ocwen in the past, and will continue to in the future. I can vouch for their inefficiencies and bureaucratical complexities - it is frustrating when you can't find a person to help with an issue.

My business systems work to minimize the ill effects of the company, maximize productivity and provide a valuable service to my customers and community. I have been able to help people who are having trouble, been able to provide jobs and work for local businesses and facilitated families finding a home.

As I stated, I can certainly relate to feelings of anger, frustration and conflict. I encourage you all to fight for your rights and to realize that you have to watch out for big business. But being angry with an amorphous, corporate entity is like being angry with a hurricane.

Believe it or not, I have noticed some positive changes in customer service and accuracy over time. It is in the best interests of any company to operate smoothly and reduced friction. It is likely that forums like this, and the constant action of enpowered consumers are helping to drive the changes.

Keep up the campaign for truth! Good luck to all...
