Ocwen Financial Corp Ocwen 80 Day Freeze Atlanta, Georgia

What is the motivation for Ocwen to freeze your account and prevent you from making payments? While most companies would gladly accept my money, Ocwen is doing everything in its power to prevent me from making the "correct" payment!

First, I was told that I could not make a payment while they were trying to research where my payments to the previous lender were going. I waited. Then I was told an amount that could be paid to reinstate the loan. I set up the wire that day and confirmed that the amount was received by Ocwen (but not credited to my account). The process, I was told would take 24 hours.

I waited. I am now told that the amount was short since we are in December and another payments is due even though they received the exact payment they requested. I cannot make any payments until they sort this out. Six days later Ocwen is still trying to determine whether the payment should be accepted or rejected. I am still waiting. This is asinine! Who is running Ocwen!
