If you hear the words Ocwen Loan Serving, run in the other direction!! They have destroyed my credit even though I have provided cancelled checks and a clear pay history, no mortgage lender will refinance me because of low scores. I tried to get a modified loan from them, but have been givin the run around for 45 days now!!! I just got off the phone, after not hearing from any body in the last 2 weeks and they said they needed two paystubs for the third borrower!! Hello, only myself and husband??? When I questioned whether the underwriter knew what she/he was doing I was told I would hear from her/him on Jan. 21st!! I have been in the mortgage business for 25 years. In the time that they have services my loan, I have had them take over $500 from my escrow account because they forgot to pay my taxes, when I tried to do the Equity Builder program by sending in biweekly payments they put them in suspense because they were not for the whole monthly mortgage amount??? This went on for 3 months and they charged me late fees for paying early. When I sent certified letters requesting they give me back my money from the escrow error and the late fees from the Equity Builder program, they sent back a letter that had nothing to do with what I had requested. I have has so much anxiety from trying to communicate with non speaking english employees, I am now on mood stabilizers. I am now physically ill and unable to work. My huband is disabled, liver and lung transplant, recipient, from a bad blood transafusion. He was receing workmans compensation and when that ended he lost his income and my income is one third of what it was. Our income does not even cover the mortgage that is why we applied for the mortgage modification to lower the interest rate so we can afford to pay it. We have gone through all of our savings and now cannot make our December payment. We cannot loose the house because we owe more than what it is worth and my husbands 95 year old mother now lives with us becuase she cannot take care of herself anymore. Her social security does not cover her expenses, ie; health insurance, co pays from hospital and nursing home, medication, so we took her in, as we should. We have had many traumas in our lives and Ocwen has become our breaking point. Can anyone help us???
