at its best!

I have been reading the complaints on Ocwen, and they are numerous all over the web. To my fellow homeowners, sit down, have a good cry, then come up fighting - and fight hard. Take all your anger, worry, dismay and release it on Ocwen. Legally there are things you can do as they try to force you into foreclosure. For those that have equity in their homes, please beware as they are especially after your property as it is profitable for them to force you to default, they will resell the loan and make massive amount of money!!  AND they will not listen to you,so take action.

There are a number of sources to educate yourself and ultimately help yourself. Go to youtube and search for the following: Attorney Carl Person; TILA and RESPA violations; loan auditors and foreclosure defense; NACA; and google www.mortgagecrime.com. This will get you started; and its a lot of information. Then contact your Attorney Generals Office & States Banking institution that allows Ocwen to operate in your state - file official complaints. Then go down to your local congressman/senator office - be respectful but sit all day long until which time someone decides to help you. Last but not least, lets get some national attention on this issue, please contact CNN, FOX, MSBNC that way its in the spotlight. The more people that do this, the more Ocwen will get the mesaage and begin to work with you.  If they have already foreclosed on you, then you have nothing but time to make a difference you have nothing to lose because they have already taken your precious home.

Huh? In the contract?

AUTHOR: Jess1 - (United States of America)

Your point is well taken but not received. I think a better question to pose would be "where in the contract does it say I am supposed to bail out the bank"; as a tax payer that's exactly what "we" did and you seem to have missed that one little itty bitty fact. Although I don't see how you missed it since it has been all over the news, and discussed on Capital Hill for years now. So, I do feel entitled to request and receive a modification if I have legitimately faced financial difficulty; and not forced into foreclosure just for the fun of it and to make greater profit. It would behoove you and people that share you opinion to educate yourselves on what's really going on behind the scenes. Unless, you in fact work for the banks, then you're part of the problem, and will more than likely never to a part of the solution.

Just to clarify, Ocwen is not a bank but a servicing company. They collect monies (collection agency) for the bank that owns the property. Nevertheless, they are and will remain the scum of the earth - on this, we agree. As far as your claim that the BBB is fraudulent, I cant comment on that as I don't depend on the BBB for anything.

I'm a heavy hitter and I go straight for the jugular vain.

Where In The Contract?

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Where in your loan contract does it say they are obligated to "help" you pay your bills?  What clause is that?  What do you define as "help"?  Ah yes, it means "the lender should allow us to dictate new contract terms when we want it and the lender should allow us to skip payments, pay when we went or not at all and the amount we want to pay.  You signed a contract with a "LENDER".  No lender is your clergyman, your mother, your shrink, your financial advisor, the IRS, your uncle, your girlfriend or your neighbor next door.  They want their money...that's all they are interested in.  And for the BBB, the reason they or any other business may have an "F" rating is because that business has not yet PURCHASED a better "rating".  The BBB is a SCAM.  Anyone can buy any phoney rating they want just like you can buy a phoney college diploma.  Ocwen may be the scum of the earth, that's understood but the BBB is covered byn the same stench.  The BBB is NOT part of any government agency.  The BBB is nothing more than a CONGAME!

call the Spanish line..

AUTHOR: Jess1 - (United States of America)

and put those Indians out of work. Dial 800-310-9229; the recording is in Spanish, once she stops talking enter your acct #, then press #. She will ask for ss #, when she stops talking enter last 4 of SS and then press #. The recorded info will review your loan payments, etc. After the prompter continues to talk, press 3, then 9. It will transfer you to an AMERICAN in USA

Ocwen has an "F" Rating with the BBB

AUTHOR: LD - (United States of America)

I know a couple of people going through this with Ocwen now. Ocwen is a very dirty company and what you said about if a person has equity in their property and their home is a nice home Ocwen will come for it is also very true. I have a friend who has considerable equity in her home. She has made numerous improvements to the home and now in her neighborhood property values are quickly rising. However, she fell behind on her mortgage and is behind now. Ocwen refuses to work with her at all and they started doing property evaluations on the home when she was only a few days after her grace period with her payment! Just a few days late!

They are loading her up with property evaluation fees and miscellaneous fees and it seems they evaluate her property multiple times EACH WEEK! They say it is a drive by evaluation but why do it so many times? They have added several hundred dollars in fees to her over and above her late fees. They are out to get her home. No doubt about that.

Ocwen also has an "F" Rating with the BBB and their customer service all located overseas in either India or the Phillipines are awful. I've made a few calls on behalf of my friend who is a nervous wreck and all they do is quote from scripts. They don't even try to help.

Times are about to get very hard for many people. I don't trust the media anymore. They all have an agenda one way or the other. But massive cuts to services are about to be made in this country. People will lose jobs all over again. They say we are headed for another recession. So people need to tighten up. Stop running out because the media keeps saying to run out and help out the stores. Just keep your money.
