I had a home loan w/Litton Loan. I was approved for a modification. Sent in first pmt. Rcvd a letter from Ocwen Mtg Co that my home loan had been sold to them due to the closing of Litton. It also stated I was in default due to non-pmt ln my loan. I rcvd this letter a few months after my loan was transferred to them by Litton. I called cust svc & was told I was being foreclosed on due to non-pmt of my loan. I explained, again, that I had rcvd a loan mod frm Litton & was sending in the amt of pmts per the mod. Ocwen stated I had defaulted because I didn't send in a acceptance document to Lutton accepting the agreement.
What a lie! I had copies of ALL documents & faxed to Ocwen. They kept stating I was being foreclosed on & that I hadn't complied. I went all the wsy to the Pres & CEO ofc of Ocwen, they were SO RUDE, kept passing me to people who didn't speak English. I was forced to file bankruptcy in krder to stop the sale of my home. They refused to accept my modification that was ALREADY IN PLACE from Litton! Ocwen wanted to accelerate my lian in full & had added thousands of dollars in fees! Im on SSI & had no choice but to file for protection. Sale stoppef.
Suddenly, Ocwen sends paper stating they are looking at a loan mod. I would be contacted shortly. NEVER contacted about my loan mod (which was ALREADY in place!). Pmts returned stating not accelerated price. Now, a year later, they're at it again! Foreclosure sale next month. I was just notified by a foreclosing atty ofc THIS WEEK thst I have 30 days to rspnd to them or face foreclosure. NOTHING from Ocwen stating sale is next month, since I just got this initial corresp from foreclosing atty stating I should rspnd w/in 30 days or be foreclosed on. .I did rspbd, via certified mail. In the many mailouts frpm other atty groups thst come when foreclosures are in the workd, it dtstez my sale date ss the 5th of next month, remember, I was just notified one week ago of my 30 day right to file a response to the pending foreclosure.
HELLO! HOW CAN I HAVE 30 DAYS WHEN MY SALE IS IN 2 WEEKS?!?! I now must file ANOTHER bankruptcy to dtop the sale in order to try to get help from Ocwen! I'm disabled, ln SSI & don't have this kind of money. I'm filing a complaint e/the OCC & anyon who might can help me! OCWEN IS DEFRAUDING THE PUBLIC & MUST BE STOPPED! Someone please help me save my home! I HAD A LOAN MOD W/LITTON! HOW CAN MY LOAN SOLD TO OCWEN & THEY DON'T HAVE TO HONOR THAT MOD FROM LITTON? HOW CAN OCWEN COME IN & TRY TO MAKE A PERSON PAY A LOAN IN FULL OR BE IN FORECLOSURE? THEY AREN'T GOING BY ANY GOVERNMENT RULES! HELP!!!!!
