Office Depot- UPS Shipping UPS through Office Depot compromises your rights to make a claim Internet

I shipped a package UPS ground from Office Depot in la Mesa, CA.  I spent extra money at office depot for more packing material to make sure it was good and tight.  i paid more money for insurance just in case it was damaged.

The package arrived damaged.  The buyer contacted UPS and was told that he has to go through office depot.  When i contacted UPS I was told that Office Depot settled the claim.  I have not at this point had any contact with office depot. The settled somehow.

I tried to contact office depot and was told that there is only one manager that deals with claims.  I spoke to here and she really was not very helpful.  She told me to fax her the receipt and an estimate of costs and she would contact ups.

I sent the paperwork last week and didnt receive any acknowledgement. i called her today and she told me that she sent the information to corporate and they would deal with it.

This is laughable.. It has been over a month. 

NEVER SHIP THROUGH OFFICE DEPOT....
