For an "EX-CUSTOMER" she sure is seen often. This lady threatens a lot and yet is still frequenting the same location that treats her so poorly. Obviously there is a different reason for her to shop at OfficeMax (funny how a retail connect card for a business that she doesn't make purchases for keeps a person coming back for the discounts).
If you truely like working for OfficeMax, and you had a "customer" treat your fellow associates the way that this lady treats them, I know that you would tell this customer to leave and never come back (the problem is that she keeps coming back). The Manager did nothing but stand up for a good associate in a bad situation. I hope that you work for someone that would have your back when a customer is calling you "horrid" and "stupid" for doing your job. Obviously it is to much to ask for someone (the customer) to pay for what they use.....(thats why she was an awful employee, because she asked her to either pay for or return some paper). She believed that there would not be an issue with "bringing back the unused paper next time and payng for it then". No difference from going to a grocery store, taking a bag full of apples and telling cashier that you will come back and pay for them when you eat them.
thats all for now.

The new employee in question is one of the best additions to not only that department, but to the store. Yet you somehow are the only one who doesn't get along with him. The real reason you don't like him is because he stopped you from stealing more paper and by forbidding you from going behind the counter, where customers aren't allowed to go anyways. Yes, they know you're stealing, and, if I had my way, Disney would know about all the copyright images you're copying and selling online.
This store, and in fact this person writing this rebuttal, have put up with you for far too long. You are so often rude, a thief, and you abuse a discount that does not belong to you. And you are going to respond to this with more '' How dare you''s and such. But you aren't going to learn or think that you may need to approach life and people any differently.
I was very tempted to call you out for the b**** you are, but I'm actually going to close this with a plea for you to get some help and learn to be a nicer and a better person. I'm sorry I didn't call you out when I had the chance, but please stop and listen for once...

I am curious why you continue to frequent this location/company if you are treated poorly? If I was treated how you claim to be, there are plenty of other retailers that would like my business. The only way to truely impact them is to stop shopping there. When you make a complaint like this and then continue to shop at that same store, it makes me believe that maybe you are not welcome at other retail stores because of your attitude and the way that you might treat people in general. Retail employees are people just like everyone else and should be treated with respect, even if you think they are a lower class and less educated group.
In closing,
If you were treated poorly, it was most likely brought on by some action or rude comment you made towards the associates. Treat people how you would like to be treated and you will live a happier and more productive life. If you don't like how you are being treated, maybe you need to ask yourself "why am I being treated like this". I can assure you that is is not because people are just plain rude, but it is their reaction to your attitude.

If I owned a store, I would want to know how the customers were treated and Office Max will be informed immediately.
- You don't own a store? Then why in the world are you in OfficeMax 3 times a week for 10 years? But if you did own a store, wouldn't you want the customer to talk to you before they just blast you on the Internet? So don't you think you probably should have talked to their upper management first?
What in the world did this guy do? Did he toss a ream of paper at your face and break your nose, or did he just not use the correct paper for your copy job?
Obviously the odds of the employee and manager being so new that you don't reconginze them is very slim, so with that many visits the manager must have at least recognized you. So how did he make the situation worse?
