There have been a rash of arsons in Youngstown Ohio. I owned one of the burned out homes. Most were vacant. Mine wasn't!
I did have the Ohio FAIR Plan for my insurance since none of the other companies would carry insurance for my neihborhood (red Zone). Well the adjuster came out 4 days later takes pictures is real nice and says yes it is a total loss.
Well at this point I thought it was an electrical fire. 2 weeks later the house burns to the grown along with 2 other house within 3 city block all within 10 mins of eachother. I now realize I was burned out. What's the insurance company do send an investigator not one of there's but a private investigator to try and bully me. Sorry to say the ex-cop met and ex seal 5" taller and 100lbs heavier. Well he was on his way.
I provided information as to my whereabouts on those nights and had noterized statements of such from over a half dozen people. That dosn't matter they say its under investigation. Well its been 2 months now and at todays interigation that lasted for 4.5 hours 179 questions before I got pissed stoud up and walked out. (there are 645 questions)
Christ we dont ask al queda that many questions. I am woundering how many others have been or are being screwed by them met several localy after running newspaper ad The investigator a disabled cop on disability (sould he be working) ELY from E investigations. Can't even find them anywhere but his home made cards. LOL but it's true

i am 15 year with Ohio Fair Plan they have lied, tricked, rude, put us and children back in a burnt sooty etc. house. that i love. the person that did us is claim manager Andy Kolar and the vice P t,b, they shair the office. why did i not get the same treat ment. why they let the company they paid , try to blow up my house and us with it. why is a good question. we are black, etc. tell me. just because you are lucky this time. beware the next time. maybe you are not. maybe why you got better treatment is because you have money to pay for a layer, maybe the job you carriey or who you know. i have done nothing to know one, just did not want to let them half ass my house. and sign for a check with out a real bid in place. they dumped my dead mothers funiture in the yard in the pouring rain. they had it since march 2012 dumped it 11-12-2012 they had a layer and the police again a lady in a wheel chair, i have it all on move camra. i still get know help . they want me to fix the chemal tuck and one window on the 4th floor. that have nothing to do with the fire. how about they fix the five window from the fire and the gas pipe, that is just a little from the fire. I also had a house fire. It was a complete loss. My adjuster came out the very next day to the hotel, that Ohio Fair Plan covered. I had a check for $2500.00 two days after my fire for clothing and other necessities lost in the fire. I was out of my home for over a year, without one incident from Ohio Fair Plan. They were great. I also have had a couple of break-ins as I don't live in the best part of town, and they have taken care of those claims without incident as well. I'm sorry you have had a bad experience, but I only have good things to say about Ohio Fair Plan. :)

Anne Bejamin Womer the head on the Dept. of Insurance will not help. Turns out she golfs with the head of ohio fair plans. Seems like the Gov. of Ohio (taft) has anothe Workers Comp. scandal here.

You are right they won't PAY! Going on 3 months and bastards keep saying we are investigating. Well what the hell is there to investigate? The house was burnt down arson we all know that! They still won't pay the mortgages though I am surely not thats why I had insurance. People there have been ove 50 arsons in the North Side of Youngstown in the last 5 months. These bastards are suposed to pay then if they think you did it come after you after the fact. But you know what it is a big Youngstown conspiracy again and everyone is out to get The Ohio Fair Plan and there retarded investigators. By the way delt with the above forementioned ass Mark W Ely (Beware real prick) retired Columbus Cop lives in Powell Ohio is a Mormen has two wives that live with him Katherine 49 and Christine48 did some digging on this guy dirty cop in the past don't see any difference now. That guy is right on the money watch out if your house burns cause they won't cover
