I purchased 6 cases of meat from this company Omega Meats door to door salesman. Now I have bought meat and other food products from Sqwaun Trucks and it was fine. Anyway they said they were in the neighborhood bc someone had ordered the meat and was either no home or didnt have the means to purchase. They said the meat is usually 400 and some odd dollars but bc it was the end of the day and they could not tske the meat back they would give us the meat for 125. We said we had just went to the market so we didnt have the space they said they recycle the boxes and they would oack them so wesaid okay. We paid cash and he asked if we need/wanted a receipt we said yes. So one of ghe men went out to get a get a receipt while the other out the meat in our freezer.When they were done the hand us a brochure and wentnext door. We look at some of the meat and a few packs aappeared dark so we stopped them next door and told them they took 4 steaks from another box and gave them to us and put the dark ones in that box. I asked them about our receipt and he said they didnt have any they guarantee their meat to stay fresh for months and if at any time we had issues call the number on the brochure so we said ok. So I cooked some of the steaks Saturday and immediately they smelled different but I thought it was nothing so I cooked them. After they were done they tasted awful like they either were spoiledor it wasn't real steak. I called the number and of course they offered to replacs the meat but no refund so I was like okay he said he would send someone out the next day didnt see or here from anyone.
