OmniKey Realty Karen Slaughter Breach of Contract Garland, Texas

I signed a contract for my pet to stay at the house. I was up front about my pet and paid a pet deposit because I know how some places are about certain types of dogs. After we were rejected at many other places to rent a home we finally found one that would allow our pet. Well OmniKey took over the lease agreement and when doing one of their quarterly inspections they saw that I had what is labeled as an American Staffordshire Terrier. This dog is similar to the American Pit Bull Terrier I had initally when I bought the house but that dog died. They are saying that regardless I signed that contract with the other company my dog must leave or we all must leave. I explained that my dog has no papers and that is the label the vet gave since we had no paper work. After she coul not find any just cause to continue they decided to find smaller things to attack me with. Things like well you switched dogs and you got another dog (yorkey) without telling us. I informed them that the previous company told me that it was not a big deal to add another dog (two dog limit) but they would prefer to call in and have the animals name on the document. I tried to handle everything as they stated but they are not even trying to educate the company on breedism, and are trying to coerse me into getting rid of our four month old puppy. My deal is if I hid somehting in the beginning or didnt pay my deposit, by all means put me out but I did everything you asked up front and I am being punished for it.
