My son went on the internet looking for vintage sneakers. He found the retrofeet web site and he loved all of the vintage sneakers they featured on their web site. The site said that all orders would be delivered within seven days. The company was signed up with payment service that secured credit card and debit cards payments.

The money was immediately taken out of my checking account. I called the customer service telephone number about fifteen times. Only twice was I ever able to reach someone. Each time I was told that the shoes were on back order from China.

It has been two years and the web site has changed ownership several times since 2005. Originally the company was said to be located in New York City. One year later the company was listed as being in Atlanta, Georgia. No matter were it has been located, no customer service personnel ever answered the telephones.

I did report this ficitious company to my local Attorney Generals office and the better business bureau. The web site has changed its design, but please do not be fooled by the professional looking images. This company exist only to rip-off people. Heed this warning do not purchase anything from the retrofeet website.
