I've filed a complaint with the FTC and recommend everyone else do the same here... http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/cmplanding.shtm
I'm also in the process of acquiring an an attorney to proceed with a class action suit against either/both companies, as, in the case of CompUSA, the FTC ruled that the company selling the product is liable for the rebate if the rebate clearing house fails to perform... http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2005/03/compusa.shtm
My purchases were made and rebates accepted in May of 2006. I waited until September 2006 to contact onrebate, as 2 months should be more than enough time to issue an electronic rebate.

I replied with my valid PayPal address. One of the rebates has been paid, but one out of three is not acceptable.
Further inquiries into the situation only net this response:

Heres how it works. they get in 100% of the rebates sent. They immediately scrap and shred 10% of them, unless they are certified mail. From that, the rebate manager is supposed to redeem at least 60% of whats left over. he doesn't. he fakes the paperwork, and everyone including the CEO knows about it. he only approves around 20%. the rest he denies for no reason or tosses out the UPC code and says its missing or whatever. people usually dont waste time fighting the denial. He pockets the rest of the budget and pays off his Lamborghini that his fat ass ca barely fit in.
